How To make Loren Martin's Spiced Pot Roast
1/2 ts Crushed red pepper
4 Cl Garlic, crushed
1/2 ts Cumin
4 ts French mustard
3/4 ts Tumeric
1 1/4 tsp ginger
1 t Rosemary
1 t Lemon pulp
1 1/2 tbs sugar
1 t Salt
3 tb Poppy seeds
1/2 c Vinegar
1/3 c Tomato puree
3 Bay leaves
2 Cloves
2 Onions, chopped
This is the ROAST WITH SOUL!!!! Place the crushed red pepper, garlic, cumin, mustard, tumeric, ginger, rosemary, lemon pulp, sugar, salt, poppy seeds and vinegar in a blender. Then, blend for about 30 seconds. Put 2 pound beef roast in large bowl and pour blended herbs and spices over meat; let marinate for 6 hours. Heat oil in skillet; add cloves and bay leaves and fry themn for 4 minutes; add onions and fry until they are soft. Turn off heat and let oil become lukewarm. Add meat and simmer for about an hour. Then, pour on tomato puree and increase heat; cook until meat is tender. This is a great recipe to mix together and pour over a roast in a crock pot; let cook for about 8 hours on LOW.

BBQ Baked Chicken Thighs Ingredients:
8 - Bone-in chicken thighs pat dry using paper towel
2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2½ tsp. Chili Powder
1½ tsp. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
½ tsp. Ground Cumin
½ tsp. White Pepper
1 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Onion, finely chopped
⅔ cp. Tomato Ketchup
⅓ cp. water
3 tbsp. Molasses
1 tbsp. Worcestershire “W” Sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
Green Onions, for garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Bake on each side for 20 min. and then 4 - 5 min on final side on broil (500 F)

Ingredients
2 lb of Roasted Chuck Beef cut in 2 inch thin squares
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes without seeds
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp Peruvian yellow pepper sauce
1/2 cup of red wine
1/4 cup of white vinegar
1 tbsp cumin grounded
1/4 tsp black pepper
Kosher salt to the taste
Preparation
In a large pot over medium heat add olive oil. Place the onion, tomato, garlic, and the Peruvian yellow pepper sauce. Add salt to the sautéed sauce or sofrito. Cook for 1 minute then add the beef, red wine, white vinegar, cumin, and black pepper. Add salt to the meat and cook for 2 minutes stirring often. Reduced the heat to a simmer and cover it with the lid. Cook for 40-45 minutes. During the cooking process remove the lid to check the level of liquid and add water if necessary. This step will help deliver a super tender beef to the table. When the time is up the liquid will reduce and thicken to a sauce. Turn the heat off. Accompany with cannellini beans and yucca or/and white rice. Serve and enjoy!

1 pie crust refrigerated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 tbsp scallions
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F and place frozen pie dish into refrigerator to thaw.
2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
3. Once the pie crust is thawed, pierce the bottom with a fork then sprinkle the ham, scallions, and 1 cup of the mozzarella and cheddar mix into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
4. Bake for 25 minutes covered then cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes if the crust starts to brown too much.
5. Once the center is completely set, let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Make this simple, easy Peruvian-Style Chicken with Creamy Jalapeño Sauce & Quinoa Salad. It’s a lot of ingredients but a must try recipe. It’s a fresh meal made easy and is good for the entire family.

Ingredients:

(double for 4 portions)
4 Chicken Thighs (or 2 chicken breasts, or 4 bone-in chicken thighs, or 2 bone-in chicken legs, or 6 chicken drumsticks)
1 Bunch of cilantro
60 g Baby greens (baby spinach, kale or arugula)
1 lemon (or lime)
1 Cuccumber
1 Jalapenõ pepper
15 g Minced roasted garlic
30 ml Mayonnaise
225g Pre-cooked multicoloured quinoa (or pre-cooked)
8.5 g Peruvian Palate spice blend ( or cummin, sweet paprika, red chili pepper flakes, oregano, dried vegetables, salt, pepper, spices, mustard, lemon oil or olive olive oil. You don't need to use all the ingredients if you don't want to)
ADDITIONAL THINGS USED:
