1/2 c Lentils (uncooked) 1 c Chopped carrots 1/4 c Chopped celery leaves 3 Cloves chopped garlic 1/2 ts Dried basil 2 c Tomato juice 2 md Potatoes (don't peel) -(chop into 1/2" cubes) 1/2 c Chopped celery 1 tb Chili powder (or less) 1/2 ts Dried oregano 3/4 c Water Throw it all in a large sauce pan, mix it up, and bring it to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer til veggies are tender (about 45 minutes). Hope you like it, Michele

Ingredients: * 1 large yellow onion (ground in food processor) * 1 cup oil * 1/2-3/4 cup Bebere (depending on how spicy you want it) * 1 tablespoon ground Ethiopian cardamom * 1 tablespoon spice blend of blackseed, whiteseed and Ethiopian Cardomom * 1 tablespoon of garlic and ginger (ground in food processor) * 1 tablespoon ground basil * 1 tablespoon ground black pepper * 2 tablespoons tomato paste * 1 1/2 cups red lentils rinsed and drained * 1 tablespoon salt * 3 cups of water (additional 1/2 cup of water as needed)
