Snowball Cookies | Sally's Baking Recipes
Snowball cookies are some of the easiest Christmas cookies you could make—you need minimal ingredients and 1 mixing bowl. Don't forget the double coating of confectioners' sugar, which helps it stick. If using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt. See full recipe.

How to Make Snowball Cookies That Melt in Your Mouth - Holiday Cookies Recipe
If you are looking for a delicious and easy holiday cookie recipe, look no further than these snowball cookies that melt in your mouth. These buttery and nutty cookies are coated with powdered sugar and have a tender and crumbly texture. They are also known as Mexican wedding cookies, Russian tea cakes, or Italian wedding cookies, but whatever you call them, they are irresistible. I call them holiday cookies, but I could eat them every day and never get bored.
To make these snowball cookies, you will need the following ingredients:
• Walnuts - 1 cup (120 grams)
• Soft butter - 1 cup (225 grams)
• Icing sugar - ⅓ cup (35 grams) + more for coating
• All-purpose flour - 2 ¼ cups (270 grams)
• Salt - ⅛ tsp.
• Vanilla extract
This holiday cookies recipe is simple and fun. You just need to toast the nuts, pulse them in a food processor, mix them with the butter, sugar, flour, salt, and vanilla, shape them into balls, bake them, and roll them in sugar. The result is a batch of irresistible snowball cookies that are perfect for sharing with your family and friends. You can make about 32 cookies with this recipe, depending on the size of your scoop.
You will love the contrast between the crunchy nuts and the soft dough, and the sweetness of the sugar and the hint of vanilla. These snowball cookies are truly a holiday delight that will melt in your mouth.
