How To make Sausage and Spinach Lasagna
1 quart spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 pounds ricotta cheese, part skim milk
1 1/2 pounds mozzarella cheese, part skim milk
3/4 pound italian sausage
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese
1 each egg
beaten
6 ounces spinach :
cooked
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Cook sausage in skillet and drain, set aside. Mix ricotta, spinach, egg and spices until smooth Pour 1 cup sauce into bottom of baking dish Cover with a layer of cooked lasagna noodles. Add a layer of ricotta, mozz and sausage. Top with a layer of sauce and grated cheese.
Bake in a moderate oven for 35 min.

Funguy The Entertainer cooks Italian Sausage Spinach Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 (16 - 24 oz) package of Italian Sausage (links or ground)
18 oven ready lasagna noodles
1 med - large sweet onion
3 jars tomato pasta sauce
1 (15 oz) container Ricotta Cheese
1 (15 oz) container Cottage Cheese
2 large eggs, beaten
4 cups chopped spinach
12 - 16 oz of shredded Parmesan Cheese
48 oz of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions:
In a skillet, cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is no longer pink and the onion is tender. Add pasta sauce and simmer for 5 - 10 minutes. While that is simmering, In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, Parmesan Cheese and chopped spinach until you have a good mixture for spreading.
In a 14.5 x 11.5 x 2 in lasagna pan, spread 1 layer of the meat sauce. Arrange 6 noodles over sauce. Spread 1/3 of the cheese and spinach mixture over the noodles, top with another layer of the meat sauce. Repeat twice more. Top with the Mozzarella Cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve.

1 yellow onion (diced)
3 cloves minced garlic or 1 tbsp garlic paste
1 28oz can tomato sauce
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
beef bouillon powder
1/2 cup dry red wine
Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
Fresh basil, chopped parsley
1l b ground beef
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 lb sweet italian sausage
1 pinch of sugar
Parsley & Basil
1 egg
8 oz fresh mozzarella (sliced into chunks)
2 cups parmesan
8-10 oz Ricotta cheese
5 oz boursin garlic and herb cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, italian seasoning
cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes (to taste)
