How To make Salt Crusted Old English Prime Rib
1 ts Monosodium glutamate (MSG)
2 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 ts Paprika
Prime rib roast Salt and pepper to taste Rock salt/ice cream rock salt Mix MSG, worcestershire, paprika, salt and pepper and rub into meat. Completely cover the bottom of a heavy roasting pan with a layer of rock salt. Lightly dampen the salt with water until salt is just moist. Place roast on the salt in standing position. Cover the roast completely with more salt, then dampen lightly. Roast in preheated oven at 500 degrees for 12-15 minutes per pound. When done, rock salt will be extremely hard. Crack
it, pull away from meat and brush any remaining salt particles from roast.

►3-4 lb top-round roast
►3 Tbsp extra light olive oil
►1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh Rosemary
►1 Tbsp minced garlic from 3 cloves
►2 tsp finely chopped thyme leaves or 1/2 tsp dried thyme
►1 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
►1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Ingredients For Beef Gravy:
►1/4 cup cold water
►1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
►1/2 cup dry red wine
►1 1/2 cups beef broth
►1/4 tsp onion powder
►1/4 tsp garlic powder
►1/4 tsp fine sea salt, or to taste
►1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
►2 Tbsp unsalted butter

YORKSHIRE PUDDING
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. Diamond kosher salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 rounded tsp. black pepper
3/4 cup low fat milk
1/4 cup water
4 large or extra-large eggs
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh sage
1/4 cup finely chopped chives
Fat (beef drippings from roast, rendered bacon
fat, or vegetable oil)
CREAMED HORSERADISH
1/2 cup full fat sour cream
2-3 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion or shallot
2-3 Tbsp. finely chopped Italian parsley
Diamond kosher salt / ground black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks

This is the simplest, most fail-safe version for cooking a Prime Rib, boneless or bone-in, ever invented. If you can’t make a perfectly pink prime rib using this method, just stop trying to cook prime rib. Enjoy!
