I didn't really enjoy this dish. I may try it again using the flour and baking soda instead and adding at least 3 Tbsp. of the sesame seeds. It just didn't have enough of a flavor for me. The mac nuts were weird, to tell you the truth. I'm so used to having it on desserts, that it was weird on my tongue with chicken (lol)

Let’s make: Herb & garlic macadamia crumb with roasted cauliflower steaks
Serves 4 I GF | DF | Vegan
Ingredients
1 large cauliflower
1 cup macadamias
1/3 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons macadamia oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C. Trim the cauliflower stem, leaving the core intact. Place the cauliflower upright on a cutting board and slice it into 2cm thick steaks, making sure to keep them intact. You should get 3-4 steaks from one medium cauliflower.
Add macadamias to a food processor with parsley, thyme, garlic, lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of the macadamia oil. Season with salt and pepper. Blend into a fine crumb.
Place cauliflower steaks onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and drizzle with remaining macadamia oil. Season well. Generously spoon the herb and garlic crumb mixture onto the cauliflower steaks. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and the crumb topping is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the cauliflower steaks cool for a few minutes before serving.

Why You May Want To Think Twice Before Eating Macadamia Nuts
When you're reaching for a mid-day snack that's both tasty and healthy, you can't go wrong with nuts, right? Not so fast. While it's true that most nuts are going to be healthier for you than most chips or other snack food, that doesn't mean you can just go wild in the nut aisle of your local grocery store. Macadamia nuts in particular have a surprisingly high calorie count to balance out their health benefits, and it only gets worse if they've been roasted or otherwise flavored. Here's why you may want to think twice before eating macadamia nuts.
