Caramelized Onion Tarts | One Pot Chef
Caramelised Onion Tarts is a simple to make, yet very impressive dish. Thinly sliced brown onions are combined with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cooked until caramelised, the mixture is spooned onto puff pastry, topped with crumbled feta cheese and baked until golden and puffed - give it a go!

2 Sheets of Frozen Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry
100g of Feta Cheese (crumbled)
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes

Hello Folks!
I hope I find you all well. Today I made this absolutely delicious potato bake! This works really well as a side but would be just as tasty on it’s own as a lunch, or even as a main meal :) You could add all sorts of things to this to make it your own…sweetcorn, mushrooms, peas, leeks, herbs :) shredded chicken would also be great in this and change up the cheese to suit yourself.

What I used - Serves 5-6 as a side
* 700g (25 oz) Potatoes - I used Maris Piper
* A little olive oil for frying
* 1 Large onion - Thinly sliced
* 1 Teaspoon minced garlic or two cloves finely sliced
* 400g (14 oz) Cooked ham or bacon - cubed or cut into chinks
* 400g (14 oz) Chicken soup - I used Heinz
* 200g (7 oz) Condensed chicken soup - I used Campbells
* 300g (10.5 oz) Grated cheese - I used Gruyere, but cheddar works well too

Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart
Impress your guests with this stunning Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart from @ChefBillyParisi this holiday season!
Featuring delicata and butternut squash, sweet potato and red onion layered on top of a cheesy garlic crust, this appetizer or side dish is a whimsical way to incorporate seasonal veggies into your festive menus!
Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart
Servings 8
Ingredients
1 package premade pie dough
1 cup Heinen's shredded mozzarella
½ cup Heinen's grated 24-month aged Parmiginao Reggiano
2 tsp. fresh thyme, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 Tbsp. Heinen's Dijon mustard
½ delicata squash, seeded and thinly sliced
½ butternut squash, peeled, seeded and thinly sliced
½ sweet potato, seeded and thinly sliced
½ red onion, peeled and thinly sliced
3 Tbsp. Heinen's olive oil
3 Tbsp. Heinen's unsalted butter, melted
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
2. Form the pie dough to a 9-inch or 10-inch shallow tart pan. Place in the freezer.
3. In a medium-size bowl, mix together the mozzarella, parmesan, thyme, garlic and mustard until combined.
4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly onto the bottom of the pie crust.
5. Arrange the vegetables in concentric circles, with rounded edges facing up, starting from the outside edge. Lean the slices against the crust and work your way inward, alternating each ingredient.
6. Drizzle the olive oil over top and season with salt and pepper.
7. Bake in the oven at 350° F for 80-90 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and lightly browned.
8. Brush the melted butter on top of the vegetables and garnish with option chopped fresh thyme. Slice and serve.
