How To make Moroccan Date Cake
Ingredients

butter

cup
sugar, or up to double amount

eggs

baking powder

cup
flour, white, unbleached

teaspoon
cinnamon
1
teaspoon
nutmeg
1/2
teaspoon
cloves, ground
1/2
cup
milk
1/2
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
cup
dates, pitted, chopped
1/2
cup
walnuts, chopped
1
whipped cream, fresh
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Combine the baking powder, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, beating well. Mix in the milk and vanilla. Beat well. Add the chopped dates and walnuts and stir again to distribute them evenly.
butter and flour a 9 inch cake pan. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for about 30 minutes, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serve with fresh whipped cream.

How to Make Moroccan Dates | Chocolate | Sesame | Almond Flour | Vegan Dessert | 4 Ingredients
Recipe Moroccan Dates:
18 medium/large medjool dates
3/4 cup almond flour
100g (3 1/2oz) raw cacao chocolate
3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Wash and remove the pits from your dates. Begin to melt your chocolate over a double boiler on the stove. Once the chocolate is melted mix it into a bowl with the almond flour. Mix thoroughly until a paste is formed. Be sure to do this while the chocolate is still warm. Now, make small log shaped nuggets and stuff that in the middle of the date. Dip the chocolate filled date into your sesame seeds. Place the finished dates on a plate or in a glass bowls and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until they’re firm. Enjoy! B’saha!

Upside down Apple & Dates Cake On Stove Top!
I made this beautiful upside-down cake in a pan, on the stovetop, using 1 apple, 1 egg, and dates. It also has simple caramel sauce too! Came out so delicious it finished in no time.
It is simple to make but has some tricks. I will try to give you all the details to have the best result.
Ingredients For Apple, Dates & Walnuts Upside Down Cake on Pan:
For 22cm nonstick pan size
For the cake batter
1 egg
1/4 cup or 3-4 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup milk
3 tbsp plain yogurt (if you don't have yogurt use 1/4 more milk)
1/4 cup or 3-4 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp flour (Add the 1 tbsp at the end if needed for thick smooth batter consistency)
1 heaped tbsp corn or wheat starch (optional, you can use same amount flour too)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
pinch of baking soda
For the topping:
1 apple
5-7 dates (I used soft Iranian Dated) (You can use 2 apples instead)
handful of walnuts
For the simple caramel sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp sugar
