Whole egg 1 (55g+- an egg)
Bread flour 300g / 2,1/8cup

Salt 2.5g / 1/2tsp
Instant yeast 3g / 1tsp
Olive oil 1tsp
Pan size 25x11x7cm
Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20-25 minutes

Irish Potato Bread - St. Patrick's Day
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, here is a simple recipe to use up leftover mashed potato. Try serving with melted cheese or scrambled eggs, perfect for kids and grown ups. YUM!
450g mashed potato
100g (ish) plain flour (enough to make a dough)
100g Cheddar (or other) cheese
Mix flour into mashed potato until you get a dough-like consistency (enough to roll out). Add in cheese if using. Roll out and cut into your shape of choice. Dry fry for five minutes and serve.

How to make Irish potato bread with a twist | How to make an easy potato bread loaf
I have shown you how to make traditional Irish potato bread in the past (I have linked that recipe in the video) and that was using cold potato and shaped in the traditional style. This recipe is made from hot potato and is made into a loaf of potato bread. This is a very simple and very quick recipe . The bread loaf turns out so soft and delicious and can be eaten as it is with butter or fried in butter for that little bit of extra flavour. The Irish love butter so its not surprising that we love to fry bread in it! You can add herbs to your bread to give it a bit of a different flavour which means you can give it your own personal stamp. This is really delicious artisan bread.
Ingredients
500gms potato
500gms flour
50gms butter
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of herbs of your choice
