How To make Harvest Time Pot Roast
3 1/2 lb Pork shoulder roast
2 tb Oil
Salt and pepper 1 1/2 c ;Water
6 sm Potato; peeled
6 sm Carrot; peeled & cut into
-2" pieces 1 lg Onion; cut into wedges
1 md Acorn squash; cut in half
-lengthwise, then seeded & -cut into 3/4" crosswise -slices 1 ts Chervil leaves; if desired
2 md Apple, cooking; cut into
-wedges 2 ts Cider vinegar
1 pk Gravy mix for pork
Brown roast in oil in heavy Dutch oven over medium heat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; add water. Cook, covered, 1 hour. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, squash and chervil; cook 25 minutes. Add apples; cook 10 minutes. Remove meat, vegetables and apples to heated platter and keep warm. Add vinegar and gravy mix to 1 1/2 cups of remaining liquid. Let's make a pot roast in the slow cooker!
Ingredients
3 lb chuck roast
1/2 tbsp garlic butter seasoning
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic herb seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 packet Au ju Gravy
3/4 cup dry red wine
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
Butter
olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp beef better than bouillon
water ( can replace with beef broth)
4 green onion
6 cloves garlic
1 onion
5 potatoes
5 carrots
fresh herbs (thyme, oregano, rosemary)

Tender Top round Roast Recipe
This top round roast recipe turn out a tender juicy, succulent roast beef!
First mix seasonings. Next rub your roast with avocado oil.
Then rub generously with seasonings!
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
Sear on stove top in cast iron pan, all the way around and on ends.
Place seared top round roast into hot oven and let it continue to seat for 10 minutes.
Turn oven down to 325
Roast for 60-70 minutes, or till 125 for rare or 135 for medium roast.
Let rest 20 minutes.
Slice thin and against the grain.

How to Cook a Chuck Roast in the Slow Cooker~Easy Cooking
In this easy cooking video, I cook a beef chuck roast in my slow cooker. I seasoned the outside of the meat with kosher salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper and then cooked it in a dry crockpot. The cooking time is 8-10 hours on low, or 6-7 hours on high, depending on how tender you want it.

OLD SCHOOL POT ROAST (SUNDAY DINNER RECIPE IDEAS SEGMENT)
OLD SCHOOL SMOTHERED POT ROAST
This is a simple awesome dish
You can eat them with white rice or mashed potatoes
Very yummy and wholesome
Recipe
5lbs beef shoulder
2 tablespoons tomato paste(optional)
1 cup pearl onions
1 cup large chopped celery
1 cup frozen English peas( optional)
1 cup baby carrots or sliced carrots
5 ea small Yukon gold potatoes quartered
Salt and pepper
1 quart water or old school beef stock
Season beef with salt and pepper
brown in skillet with vegetable oil
After browning add beef to roasting pot and add carrot and celery to pot
cook for 5 minutes
add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes
Add 3 tablespoons flour to remaining oil in skillet and brown slightly
Add 1 quart of water or beef stock to skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes
Add remaining vegetables and potatoes
Add beef back to pot
Place in 350 degree oven and cook for 2- 3 hours
ENJOY OVER WHITE RICE OR MASHED POTATOES
