How To make Flan Cheesecake
2 tb Sugar, divided
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
5 Egg yolks, beaten
13 oz Evaporated milk
1 cn Sweetened condensed milk
13 oz Can water measured in milk
-can 1 ts Vanilla
1 pn Of salt
Place 10 tbs sugar in a heavy skillet. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves into a light brown syrup. Pour immediately in flan pan or shallow dish and let cool and harden. In mixing bowl, place cream cheese; add beaten egg yolks. Stir in both milks, water, vanilla, remaining sugar and salt. Blend with caramelized sugar and set in a pan of hot water. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hr.
Note - Flan will look soft, but hardens in refrigerator. Be sure to chill thoroughly; it is better if it can be refrigerated overnight. When ready to serve, invert on a flat plate, and teh flan will come out easily with the caramel sauce on top. Do not freeze.

FLAN DE QUESO (CREAM CHEESE FLAN)
Ingredients:
1 package block (250 grams) Cream Cheese, softened (room temperature)
1 can 395 grams (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 can 375 ml (12 oz) Evaporated Milk
6 medium Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup White Sugar (2 tbsp to each Llanera mould)
Procedure:
1. Make caramel by placing llanera (aluminium mould) over stove. Set to low fire. Add 2 tbsp of white sugar. Wait sugar to dissolve a bit. Slowly swirl llanera to evenly cook/ caramelise sugar until become golden brown. Once melted, remove from heat and allow caramel to cool to set.
2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with electric mixer or wire whisk until smooth and fluffy.
3. Gradually add Eggs (total of 6 eggs) into cream cheese. Beat after each addition.
4. Add condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
5. Using a spatula, slowly stir the flan mixture to allow foam/ bubbles to subside. You can also skim off the foam using a fine sieve strainer.
6. Pour 1 - 1 1/2 cup of flan mixture into the prepared llaneras.
7. Cover llaneras with foil.
8. Cook by Steaming: Steam Flan for 45 -50 minutes over low heat or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Or, Cook by Baking: Using Baine Marie ( water bath method) place the llaneras into a tray. Fill tray with 1 inch of hot water. Bake at 180° C (350° F) for 45-50 minutes.
9. Serving: Run a knife between the side of the custard and llanera. Put a serving plate on top of the dish and quickly invert the two. Then lift the llanera straight up. Serve it right away or chill it for at least 1 hour.
Notes:
1. Moulds: Use any mould of your choice - Llanera, round baking pans, ramekins
2. Cook by Steaming: Always do the Tooth pick test when steaming flan ( toothpick inserted in the center of the custard, when it comes out clean, it is done). After Tooth pick test and custard is still wet, extend cooking every 5 minutes and check again. It is important to set fire into LOW HEAT when steaming flan to achieve smooth custard texture

Hi guys today I will be sharing a recipe I stumble accross 2 years ago I got the original recipe from my expert village but I modify the recipe a little bit to suit my cake pan and my desired texture.
For the caramel base
3/4 cup sugar
For the Cheesecake Flan
4 egg whites
8 egg yolks
1 box cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup milk
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar ( can be adjusted to your desired sweetness )

No Bake Cream Cheese Flan Recipe Ingredients:
Flan Mixture:
8pcs egg yolks
1 can 370ml evaporated milk
1 can 390g condensed milk
1/2 cup white sugar for caramel
Cream Cheese Mixture:
1box 226g cream cheese (American Heritage brand)
4pcs egg white
1/3 cup white sugar
1tsp vanilla flavor
No Bake Cream Cheese Flan Recipe Cooking Procedures:
Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar over low heat and set aside.
In a bowl, beat 8pcs egg yolks.
Then, add 1can (370ml) evaporated milk and 1 can (390g) condensed milk.
Mix well and set aside.
In a another bowl, beat 1 bar (226g) room temperature cream cheese.
Next, add 1/3 cup white sugar and mix them until smooth.
Then, add 4 pcs egg white and 1 tsp vanilla flavor. Mix well.
Combine the milk mixture and cream cheese mixture well.
Then transfer it into a 9 pan with caramelized sugar. Strain the mixture to remove lumps and bubbles.
Coven the pan with aluminum foil.
Steam over medium heat for 1hr & 20mins (no need to preheat the steamer).
After 1hr & 20mins, remove the pan from the steamer and use a toothpick to check if it is already cooked.
If the toothpick come out clean, then it's cooked.
Let it cool down before turning upside down.
Refrigerate for atleast 2 hours before serving.
