How To make Festival Fried Rice
2 sl Bacon; diced
1/3 c Sliced green onions
-- including tops 1/3 c Sliced mushrooms
1/4 c Diced red or green pepper
1/4 c Frozen green peas; thawed
1 Egg; beaten
2 c Cooked rice; chilled
1 tb Soy sauce
Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-low heat until crisp. Increase heat to medium. Add onions, mushrooms, pepper, and peas; stir-fry 1 minute. Push vegetables aside; pour egg into skillet and scramble. Add rice and soy sauce; stir until heated, gently separating grains. * 6 Cups of Basmati Rice
* 2 tablespoons Thyme
* 700ml Meat/ Chicken stock
* Bell Peppers: 1 Large green bell pepper, 1 large red bell pepper & 1 Large yellow bell pepper
* Green peas 300g
* 4 Carrots
* 350g Sweet corn
* Basil flakes
* 1 tablespoon ground ginger
* 1 tablespoon basil
3 tablespoons seasoning
* Protein of choice Meat/ Chicken

Festive Rice - Episode 547
2 cups cooked parboiled rice - you can colour your rice with turmeric powder or food colouring
1/2 cup mulitcoloured bell finely chopped
1/4 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup onion chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp golden ray / salted butter
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup raisins
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 pimento peppers chopped
1 cup corn and peas
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp fine thyme
salt to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper

To Make Garlic Egg Fried Rice
Leftover Rice - 1 Bowl
Garlic - 2 Bulb
Egg - 3 Nos
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Red Chilli - 3 Nos
Spring Onion Whites
Spring Onion Greens
Salt - 1 Tsp
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Light Soy Sauce - 2 Tsp
Method:
1. Peel off the garlic skin, cut the cloves into fine slices and keep them aside.
2. Crack open eggs in a bowl and add salt to it. Beat it well.
3. Heat oil in a kadai and add sliced garlic. Saute until they are golden brown in colour.
4. Add red chilies, spring onion whites, beaten eggs and mix well. Cook until the eggs are done.
5. Add the cooked rice and mix well on medium low flame.
6. To this, add salt, pepper powder, light soya sauce and spring onion greens.
7. Cook this all on a medium high flame for a few seconds and turn off the stove.
8. Pour some oil in a pan. Place a cutter in it. Crack open an egg in the cutter. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Make sure the omelette is half boiled.
9. Serve the garlic fried rice hot with this gorgeous half boiled omelette.

Q: I don't have a strong stove. My rice always end up soggy
A: The problem could be one of below ↓
1: Your rice is too wet
Wet rice makes it soggy. So make sure to measure the rice and water properly.
And once it's cooked, it's even better if you freeze it once. You will see it break apart lot easier
2: You didn't heat your pan enough
The most common mistake. Make sure to heat your pan until SMOKING hot.
It's impossible to heat your pan very fast like Chinese restaurants, but if you take your time to heat it, you can make similar environment.
My stove is a $10 cheap one, but I can still cook like a pro????
