How To make Pineapple Fried Rice
1 lg Fresh pineapple
2 c Cooked long-grain white rice
1 oz Chinese dried mushrooms
1 sm Onion; finely chopped
2 tb Oil, preferably peanut
1/4 lb Chinese long beans
-(OR Green Beans), -trimmed and diced 2 Eggs
2 tb Dark soy sauce
1 tb Fish sauce (optional)
CAREFULLY CUT OFF and save the pineapple top, leaving about 1-inch of the pineapple under the leaves. Scoop out the inside fruit leaving the skin of the pineapple whole to use as a bowl for the fried rice. Coarsely chop the pineapple meat. Soak the dried mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes until they are soft. Squeeze the excess liquid from the mushrooms and remove and discard their stems. Cut the caps into small dice. Heat a wok or large frying pan until it is hot. Then add the oil and wait until it is almost smoking. Add the mushrooms, onions, beans and stir-fry for one minute. Mix in the cooked rice and stir-fry it for one minute. Add the eggs, soy sauce and fish sauce and continue to stir-fry for five minutes over high heat. Add the chopped pineapple and continue to stir-fry for about two minutes. Scoop the mixture into the hollowed-out pineapple shell, replace the top and serve the remaining rice on a platter.

On this recipe, I'm demonstrating a tasty new way to have your rice. Im using left over rice which is better than using hot rice when making this dish. I usually make fried rice with soy sauce but on the recipe Im making it with Tropical Heat curry powder and the combination with diced pineapples...one word, YUM!
If you don't like pineapples though, it's optional. Enjoy
Delicious Fried rice at home
Ingredients per person
- 2 cups cooked cold rice
- 1 egg
- 1 spring onion, sliced thin
- 100g ham
- 50g frozen peas
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 dashes maggi seasoning
- 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
Method
1. Heat the oil in a wok or large frypan.
2. Add your beaten egg and scramble. Once cooked, remove from the wok and set aside.
3. Once the wok is hot again, add the ham and cook for 2 minutes and then add the spring onions.
4. Once the temperature is back in the wok, add the cooked rice and stir well.
5. Next add the peas, the cooked egg, and then the soy sauce on the outside of the wok.
6. Season with the maggi and white pepper.
7. Finish with the spring onion greens and enjoy!

-Salt to taste
-Soy sauce - 2tbsp
-Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
-Sugar - 1tsp
-1/2 Lemon
-Spring onion
1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha or chili garlic sauce (optional)

Hello lovelies, in today's video we are making one of my best rice dish, its soooo easy, quick and packed with sooo much flavour, you will loveeee it.
Ingredients:
-1 whole pineapple
-1medium onion, chopped
-3cloves garlic chopped
-2 green chillies, chopped(optional)
-1/2cup green peas
-2carrots, chopped
-1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
-3 cups cooked basmati rice
-1tbsp dark soy sauce
-1tbsp curry powder
-1/2cup raw/roasted cashew nuts
-2 green onions, chopped
