Here’s how to make our HOMEMADE BARBECUE SAUCE:
EASY LIST
Ingredients for this homemade sauce are all readily available. The recipe does call for both ketchup and mustard, and you can use your favourites. We have tested the recipe using both prepared and Dijon mustards, and although prepared mustard works, we found Dijon made the sauce taste better. We encourage you to experiment with your favourite ingredients though, you won’t be disappointed.
SIMMER DOWN
Mixing the ingredients together in a saucepan is an easy step. The essential step in the recipe is the slow simmer of the sauce for 30 minutes. This gives the flavours a chance to mix and meld properly as they slowly cook.
ENJOY!
This HOMEMADE BARBECUE SAUCE is one of the finest we’ve ever tasted, so it usually disappears pretty quick. The quantity of the finished sauce is enough to get you through three weeks of grilling, so try to use it up within that timeframe.
