Summer Grilling with Leanne Penney
Burgers ???????????? – a summertime classic and family favourite! I ❤️❤️❤️ my Epicure 3 in 1 Burger Press to shape up burgers quickly and easily – you can do sliders, classic sized burgers, AND stuffed burgers in seconds! We did a classic burger with sharp cheddar cheese, and though you can have FUN getting creative with the fillings!
Season burgers with so many of your Epicure favourites…
➡️ Donair seasoning – stuff with mozza cheese, top with Donair Sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion ????????????????
➡️ Greek Dressing or Souvlaki seasoning – stuff with spinach leaves, diced roasted red peppers and feta cheese, top with tzaziki ???? ????????????
➡️ Fajita, Taco or Poco Salsa seasoning – stuff with cheddar combined with a pinch of Nacho Cheese Dip seasoning, or cream cheese blended with Nacho Dip or Queso Seasoning, top with salsa and guac ???? ????????????
➡️ Tuscan Chicken Burger seasoning – perfect with sundried tomato and goat cheese inside, top with prepared Potato Salad Dressing ????????????
➡️ Other great fillings are sautéed onions and/or mushrooms ????; crumbled cooked bacon????; all sorts of cheeses – ???? blue, boursin, mozza, gouda, smoked cheddar, brie; cream cheese based dips work terrifically, like our famous Extraordinary Cheese Dip, Artichoke Dip, Nacho Dip…????
For vegetarian or vegan friends, big Portobello mushrooms can be seasoned with the same spices + a little oil to keep things from drying out and served the same way, using non-dairy substitutions OR try our awesome Veggie Burgers – they’re SO yummy!
Why have the same old bun, when you can make it extra delicious quickly and easily?! Garlic-buttered buns are a game-changer! ???? ???? Take the flavours and textures up a notch, and lightly spread the buns with garlic butter, made with softened butter, our Roasted Garlic Aioli, and here I used some of the new Tuscan Chicken Burger Seasoning right out of the jar. It’s terrific in garlic butter, with hints of tomato, oregano, and the subtle tang of sumac. Grill until toasted for BIG flavour and a little crunch.
Want to play with those flavours too? Start with softened butter and Roasted Garlic Aioli as your base, and then mix it up! Feeling Italiany, add Marinara, Pesto, Bruschetta, Balsamic or Italian seasoning. Greek – try Greek Dressing or Lemon Dilly, TexMex – Taco, Fajita, or Poco Salsa, and Classic – BBQ Chicken & Rib Rub or Herb & Garlic!
Whip up some Big Burger Sauce, have your fav garnishes ready to go, and fire up that grill! These were finger-licking G O O D!
