How To make Curry Halibut Stroganoff
2 tb Butter
1/4 c Chopped onion
1 ts Curry powder
8 oz Halibut (cooked and flaked)
1 cn Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 c Plain yogurt
1/2 c Milk
1/2 ts Lemon juice
Saute chopped onion and curry powder in butter. Stir in can of chicken soup, yogurt, milk, lemon juice and halibut. Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with tomato slices and parsley, or chopped unsalted peanuts, currants and chutney. Serves 4-6 (depending on serving portions). Hey guys!! Today I'm presenting to you one of the best dinners you will ever try in your life! This soup recipe comes from Brazil and it's absolutely unforgettable! It's full of fresh and easy to get ingredients and once they simmer together, they create the most mouth watering broth that is truly addictive. The tender, flaky fish gives this soup it's unique flavor and not to forget the coconut milk that makes this the most stopping dinner recipe!
Ingredients:
1&1/2 lbs. Cod or Halibut
1/2 tsp. salt
juice & zest of 1 lime
2 tbsp. oil
1 onion
1 cup carrots
1 red bell pepper
4 cloves garlic
1 jalapeño
1&1/2 cup tomatoes
1 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 cup broth
14 oz. coconut milk
Directions:
Season cut up fish with salt and lime and place to the side to marinate. Add oil to a pot and sauté all the chopped up veggies except the fresh tomato. Once they are all nice and translucent, add the tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley and coconut milk/ stock. Cover and simmer 30 minutes then add the fish and continue to cook about 5 more minutes until fish is tender and ready. Serve this soup with some steamed rice and crusty bread! Enjoy.

Healthy Appetite - 8 - Tandoori Spiced Halibut With Cucumber And Sauteed Potatoes By Gordon Ramsay
For The Tandoori Curry Paste:
1 large knob fresh ginger
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp salt
1 tsp hot chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp sweet paprika
2 tsp garam masala
1/2 lemon (juice only)
1 tbsp tomato purée
2 tbsp groundnut oil
For The Halibut:
4 skinned halibut fillets (about 150 g each)
1 tbsp tandoori paste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp caster sugar
2 cucumbers
1 15O g tub natural yoghurt
1 handful fresh mint (leaves only)
1 lemon (juice only, 1 squeeze)
2 tbsp groundnut oil
For The Sautéed Potatoes:
6 medium potatoes (King Edwards or Maris Piper)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tp turmeric
salt and pepper
1 tsp black mustar seeds
1 knob butter

Fish tastes like Burger Steak! | Bangus Fish Stroganoff | World Cuisine RECIPES | Kusinang Bahay
Welcome to Kusinang Bahay!
Our recipe for today is the third entry of my world cuisine series recipe. This is a famous Russian dish, Beef Stroganoff, but since I already cooked a beef recipe recently which is Beef Bourguignon. I try cooking it with fish, Bangus Stroganoff.
Featuring the savory mushroom sauce in which personally it has similarities with the famous burger steak sauce here in the Philippines. I also incorporate this dish with a Filipino element by cooking this with milkfish or Bangus, whereas this is our national fish.
The taste of this dish is closely reminded me of Jollibee's famous Burger Steak.
If you find a different approach to your Bangus, why not try this, it's really different but so delicious just like the burger or beef steak. aforementioned. Have fun watching it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 pcs large MILKFISH/ BANGUS (butterflied, deboned)
- 2 cups MUSHROOMS (canned mushrooms)
- 2 1/2 tbsp CREAM OF MUSHROOM CONDENSED SOUP
- 2 tbsp BUTTER
- 5 cloves GARLIC (chopped)
- 1 pc WHITE ONION (chopped)
- 1 tsp SALT
- 1/2 tsp GROUND BLACK PEPPER
- 3 tbsp COOKING OIL
- APF/ ALL PURPOSE FLOUR (for the fish coating)
- 2 tbsp WATER (optional)
