4 oz Pickled HerringIn Sour Cream 1/2 c Apple; Tart, Finely Diced 1 tb White Onion; Finely Diced 1 c Sour Cream Puree the herring (sauce and all) in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add all the other ingredients and continue to process until smooth. Cover and chill. Makes about 2 cups of dip. SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Cocktail Rye Bread, Lavasch Crackers, Broccoli, Cherry Tomatoes, Zucchini

Today I tried Appel brand Herring in Paprika Cream. It had a real strong fishy smell. Like fish on a hot day fishy smell. I probably would have liked it better if it didn't have the paprika cream on it, because the two flavors din't go good together. I have to go poop now.
