8 sl Bacon, halved 1 lb Chicken livers, halved 6 oz Can whole water chestnuts, -drained and sliced 2 tb Oil Lay bacon slices flat. Place chicken livers and water chestnuts on top, roll up and secure with toothpicks. Heat oil in wok or frying pan. Add liver rolls and cook until bacon is browned. Serve.

For our recipe we use:
300 gr / 10.5 oz Chicken liver 200 gr / 7 oz Bacon in cubes and thin slices too 300 gr / 10.5 oz Mushrooms 80 gr / 2.8 oz Cheddar 80 gr / 2.8 oz Cheese 200 gr / 7 oz Milk 1 White onion 2 cloves of Garlic 5 gr / 0.17 oz Salt 5 gr / 0.17 oz Ground pepper
We clean the mushrooms. After that dice a white onions. We clean 2 cloves of garlic and we dice them up for our marinate. We marinate our liver one night before with milk and diced garlic. We dice the bacon and the cheese. We use two kinds of cheese. Cheddar and cured sheep cheese. We put a cast iron pan o the hot charcoal. We add some oil and when hot we add the bacon. We season with ground pepper. We sir the bacon until golden and crisp. We add the diced white onions with the garlic and we season with salt. While its cooking we wrap our chicken liver. For the Chicken liver wrapped with bacon we start by laying a flat surface thin slices of bacon we add on top the liver and we roll them. Our stuffing is cooked so we put it in a bowl, we add the cheese and it`s done. We season the cleaned mushrooms, we add the stuffing on top and we put them on the grill. We heat up some oil in a hot cast iron pan and we add the wrapped liver. We sir it on all sides until golden and crisp. The mushroom doesn`t need to stay on the grill for a long time. Just a few minutes are enough because they will get dry if you overcook them. You will love this stuffed mushroom recipe .
