How To make Bran Date Bread
1 1/4 c Unbleached Flour, Sifted
1 1/2 ts Baking Powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Active Sourdough Starter
3/4 c Buttermilk or Sour Milk
1 c Finely Chopped Pitted Dates
1 c All Bran
1 ts Grated Lemon Peel (ZestOnly)
2 ea Large Eggs, Beaten
1/4 c Vegetable Oil
3/4 c Firmly Packed. Brown Sugar
Sift dry ingredients together. Dust dates with 1 T flour mixture, then add to the bowl. Then add the brown sugar, all bran, and grated lemon peel. Combine 3/4 cu buttermilk, 2 beaten eggs, 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Add all once to flour mixture with the sourdough starter, stirring until well moistened. Pour into greased or waxpaper lined loaf pan about 9 x 5-inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Allow to stand 10 minutes in pan and then remove from pan and cool until cold. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil and place in Refrigerator. Use cream cheese or home made butter on this bread for an out of this world taste.

Surprisingly Amazing Bran and Date Muffins
Healthy and Delicious Bran and Date Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup milk
185 g (1 and 1/4 cups) all purpose flour
105 g wheat bran
120 g sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon powder
120g chopped dates
1/2 cup (125 ml ) vegetable oil
1 Egg
Instruction:
combine dry ingredients in a bowl then add the wet ingredients and mix until everything is well combined and smooth
then add chopped dates and give it a stir . grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line the pan with muffin papers,
Fill the cups of the muffin pan two-thirds full.
bake at preheated 375 f ( 190 c ) Oven for about 20 minutes.
Let the muffins cool in the tins for five minutes before removing them.then turn them out of the pan onto a rack to cool completely.

• 1½ cups 100% all bran cereal
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
• 1 large egg
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
✅Instructions
00:00:53 - What kind of bran cereal to use for muffins
1️⃣ 00:00:44 - Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly spray a muffin pan with nonstick spray or line with paper cups.
2️⃣ 00:00:53 - In a medium sized mixing bowl soak bran cereal and buttermilk for about 10 minutes until it gets all soggy.
3️⃣ 00:01:30 - Add in melted coconut oil, egg, brown sugar, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir thoroughly. This mixture will be very thick.
4️⃣ 00:02:34 - Divide the batter equally among the 12 muffin cups, filling almost all the way full.
5️⃣ 00:02:57 - Bake in the preheated 450 degree oven for 5 minutes. Without opening the door, reduce the heat to 350 degrees and let the muffins continue baking another 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
