How To make Cinnamon Roasted Chicken
**Formatted By Carole Walberg** 2 roasting chickens (about 4.5 lb each)
or 1 capon (about 9 lb) 2 Tsp cinnamon
1 Tsp dried thyme
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp pepper
With poultry shears or large, sharp knife, cut chicken into serving-size pieces. Mix together cinnamon, thyme, salt and pepper. Rub mixture all over surface of chicken pieces. In large, nonstick or lightly greased baking pan (or 2 smaller pans), arrange pieces, skin side up, slightly apart in single layer. Roast in 375F (190C) oven, basting occasionally with pan drippings, for about 1 hour or until juices run clear when thickest parts of chicken are pierced and skin is crisp and browned. (If you prefer not to eat the skin, the meat is still well-flavored with the seasoning.)

Roasting whole chicken this way makes everything easy and delicious! Happy new year! ????
1 whole chicken
1 tbsp each tomato and red pepper paste
1 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp each paprika, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt
3-4 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
For the veggies:
4-5 potatoes, 1 onion, 2 carrots
1/2 tsp paprika, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, and olive oil
optionally you can cover the top of the chicken with baking paper for 30 minutes.

I absolutely love this Baked Chicken Recipe, it is so easy and quick to put together. You hardly need a recipe because you can combine your favorite spices or marinades. I love preparing my own seasonings, and this combination is just perfect. I chose chicken thighs and drumsticks, but you can use a mix of wings, thighs and drumsticks or stick to the ones you like the most. One good thing about this baked chicken is you can prepare as much as you want because it makes perfect leftovers. I always use butter before seasoning, because I think it adds a delicious flavor and some good color, but you can also use olive oil if you like. This baked chicken will be delicious with your favorite side and you can change it around too, I guess it’s why I prepare it often. I hope you give it a try.❤️

EASY OVEN BAKED CHICKEN | Jamaican Style Baked Chicken Step by Step

INGREDIENTS...
4 Chicken leg quarters
Season Chicken with⬇️
3 tbsps Green seasoning (recipe link below)
4 pimento grains crushed
1 tbsp finely minced ginger
1/4 tsp minced scotch bonnet
2 1/2 tsp All purpose seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fancy mollasses or Grace Fish & Meat Sauce or Pickapeppa sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
About 1/4 - 1/2 tsp browning (a dark caramel often used in Jamaican cookery to add dark colour to the dish being prepared)
A little salt only necessary if your all purpose seasoning has none or too little salt
Quick Gravy ingredients⬇️
2 tsps canola oil
1 small onion, cut into strips
1 tsp ginger slices
2 tsps minced garlic
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 sprigs thyme
2 tbsps (more or less) Tomato ketchup
1/2 - 1 tbsp Brown sugar
1/2 - 1 cup water
Slurry (mix 2-3 tsps room temp. water with 2 tsps cornstarch)optional
