How To make Champagne Almond Cake
-JUDI M. PHELPS 1 tb Almonds; finely chopped
1/2 lb Butter
3 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 ts Almond flavoring
1 c Sour cream
6 lg Eggs
3 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Baking soda
********GLAZE********* 1 c Confectioners' sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 To 3 tablespoons champagne
1 ts Almond extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan. Sprinkle almonds on bottom and set aside. Cream the butter until it is light and fluffy. Add the sugar one cup at a time, beating well until the mix is smooth. Blend in the vanilla and almond flavoring and the sour cream. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, and powder and add flour mix to the cake batter mixing just enough to incorporate it. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set in middle of oven. Bake for 1-1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Remove from oven. Loosen edges from side of pan with spatula; set on cake rack. Let cool 5 minutes and remove from pan. Approximately 10 servings. This is a review by Megan Munches of the January Cake of the Month which was Pink Champagne Cake which was available at The Ghost Town Bakery (across from the Ghostrider exit) during Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. The Pink Champagne Cake was a dense pink cake tasting of vanilla and almonds with a cream cheese filling. The cake white frosting covering the cake is very beautiful with gold sprinkles, gold crystal sugar, & pearlized/silver/black larger round nonpareils.

Vanilla Cake With Whipped Custard Cream Recipe

The cake
100 g of cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
40 grams of sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
50 g of vegetable oil
70 grams milk
4 egg yolks
Vanilla flavor 1 teaspoon
4 egg whites
50 g of sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice (use cream of tartar or vinegar instead)

3 egg yolks
250 grams milk
80 grams sugar
40 g of corn flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Vanilla flavor 1 teaspoon
30 g hot water
300 g of whipping cream
Sprinkles (can be worn or not, as you like)

How To Bake
- Bake at 160 degrees for about 35-40 minutes without turning on the fan.

น้ำมะนาว 1/2 ช้อนชา (ใช้ครีมออฟทาทาร์ หรือน้ำส้มสายชูแทนได้)

ไข่แดง 3 ฟอง
นมสด 250 กรัม
น้ำตาล 80 กรัม
แป้งข้าวโพด 40 กรัม
เกลือ 1/4 ช้อนชา

น้ำร้อน 30 กรัม
