Special Custard Trifle
Serves 8-10
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
Prepare Custard:
-Pakola Full Cream Milk 1 & ½ litre
-Sugar 1 & ¼ Cup
-Custard powder (vanilla flavor) ¾ Cup
-Pakola Full Cream Milk ½ Cup
-Mango or Pineapple juice ¼ Cup
-Dairy cream whipped 150ml
Prepare Jelly:
-Water 1 Cup
-Instant jelly mix 80g (strawberry flavor)
-Water 1 Cup
-Instant jelly mix 80g (banana flavor)
-Mixed fruit cocktail 430g (with cocktail syrup)
-Papaya cubes 2 Cups
-Apple cubes 1 Cup
-Banana sliced 1 Cup
Assembling:
-Sponge cake cut in cubes
-Pista (Pistachios)
-Badam (Almonds) chopped
-Pista (Pistachios) sliced
Directions:
Prepare Custard:
-In a wok.add milk,sugar,mix well & bring it to boil.
-In a bowl,add custard powder,milk & whisk well.
-Now add dissolved custard powder in boiling milk,mix well & cook on low flame until custard thickens (4-5 minutes) & keep consistency a bit thicker than normal custard.
-Remove from heat and let it cool completely while whisking.
-Add mango or pineapple juice & whisk well.
-Add dairy cream,mix well to combine then whisk well until smooth & set aside.
Prepare Jelly:
-In a saucepan,add water & bring it to boil.
-Add banana instant jelly mix & mix until it dissolves.
-Pour in a dish & let it cool.
-Cut jelly into cubes & set aside.
-In a saucepan,add water & bring it to boil.
-Add strawberry instant jelly mix & mix until it dissolves.
-Pour in a dish & let it cool.
-Cut jelly into cubes & set aside.
-In a bowl,add mixed fruit cocktail along with cocktail syrup,papaya,apple,banana,fold fruits in syrup to avoid browning of fresh fruits & set aside.
Assembling:
-In a serving dish,add prepared custard,sponge cake,mixed fruits,pistachios,almonds,colored jelly cubes,prepared custard & garnish with whipped cream,red & green jelly & pistachios.
-Refrigerate until chilled!

-Karahi mein doodh aur cheeni dal ker ache tarhan mix karein & ubal anay dein.
-Bowl mein cuatard powder aur doodh dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Boiling milk mein dissolved custard dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per custard garha ho janay tak paka lein (4-5 minutes) aur consistency ko normal custard sa ziyada thick rakhna hai.
-Chulhay sa hata lein aur whisk kertay hoye thanda ker lein.
-Mango or pineapple juice dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Dairy cream dal ker ache tarhan mix karein phir smooth ho janay tak ache tarhan whisk ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Prepare Jelly:
-Saucepan mein pani dal ker ubal lein.
-Banana jelly mix dal ker dissolve ho janyay tak ache tarhan mix karein.
-Dish mein pour ker lein & thanda ker lein.
-Cubes mein cut ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Saucepan mein pani dal ker ubal lein.
-Strawberry jelly mix dal ker dissolve ho janyay tak ache tarhan mix karein.
-Dish mein pour ker lein & thanda ker lein.
-Cubes mein cut ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein mixed fruit cocktail syrup ka saath dal dein,papaya,apple aur banana dal dein aur fruits ko syrup mein ache tarhan coat ker lein ta ka fresh fruits brown na hun & side per rakh dein.
Assembling:
-Serving dsih mein tayyar custard,sponge cake,mixed fruits,pista,badam,colored jelly cubes & tayyar custard dal dein,whipped cream,red & green jelly aur pista sa garnish ker lein.
-Thanda ho janay tak refrigerate ker lein.
-In a bowl,add mixed fruit cocktail along with cocktail syrup,papaya,apple,banana,fold fruits in syrup to avoid browning of fresh fruits & set aside.

Custard Fruit Trifle
Ingredients for Custard Mixture:
Milk 1 cup
Vanilla custard powder 4 tbsp
Ingredients for Custard Preparation:
Milk 1 L
Sugar 1/2 cup
Custard mixture
Ingredients for Banana Jelly:
Water 2 cups
Banana jelly powder 1/4 cup
Ingredients for Strawberry Jelly:
Water 2 cups
Strawberry jelly powder 1/4 cup
Ingredients for Sugar Syrup:
Water 2 cups
Sugar 1/4 cup
Ingredients for Assembling:
Cake slices as required
Sugar syrup as required
Custard as required
Banana and strawberry jelly as required
Banana slices as required
Apple (small cubes) as required
Fruit cocktail as required
Strawberry slices as required
Cream as required
Chocolate (crushed) as required

Directions for Custard Mixture Preparation:
1. In a bowl add milk, vanilla custard and whisk well. Custard mixture is ready.
Directions for Custard Preparation:
2. In a deep pan, add milk and sugar and cook until sugar is fully dissolved. Now add prepared custard mixture and stir & cook on medium flame until thick in consistency. Take off flame and let it cool on room temperature.
Directions for Banana Jelly Preparation:
3. In a pan heat water and bring it boil. Add banana jelly powder and cook until fully dissolved. Let it cool on room temperature.
Directions for Strawberry Jelly Preparation:
4. In a pan heat water and bring it to boil. Add strawberry jelly powder and cook until fully dissolved. Let it cool on room temperature.
Directions for Sugar Syrup Preparation:
5. In a bowl add water and sugar. Whisk until sugar is fully dissolved.
Directions for Assembling:
6. In a dish place cake slices, drizzle sugar syrup on them. Add banana and strawberry jelly over it.
7. Add prepared custard, banana slices, apple, fruit cocktail, strawberry slices and add custard again on top.
8. Drizzle cream and sprinkle crushed chocolate on it. Place cherry on top and serve.
Preparation time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Serving: 5-6
Individual Strawberry Trifle | Dessert for Two
A layer of pound cake, strawberries and vanilla pudding. it is sweet and delicious and we are making the perfect amount for two. You can always make this in a larger quantity if you need to feed more people.

Ingredients:
2 slices of pound cake (see my individual pound cake recipe video)
Vanilla pudding ( see my Vanilla Pudding for Two video) Amount will depend on size of dish you are using, but about 1/4 cup per trifle.
Fresh strawberries or other berries. (about 1/4 cup sliced per trifle)
Whipped cream.
Directions:
Pick a pretty glass dish.
Slice 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries, place in a bowl and sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of sugar and cover. let sit in refrigerator for an hour or so until juices form.
Place a slice of pound cake in the bottom.
Spoon strawberries and juice over top of cake
Top with desired amount of vanilla pudding.
Add whipped cream
Garnish with a sliced berry.
It can be made up to 24 hours ahead of time, just cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. I like to refrigerate it for 4-24 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

1/4-1/2 Cup of sweet sherry
Vanilla Custard
More mixed berries
600ml of whipped or whipping cream
Blueberries & strawberries to decorate
