The best salsa ever! Chilean recipe, Pebre! Easy homemade recipe, cilantro
This Chilean recipe is my favorite! You have to make this!
What you’ll need:????????
3 tomatoes, chopped ( take the seeds aka guts out )
1 bunch fresh cilantro (leaves), chopped
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons apple wine vinegar
1 tablespoon chile-garlic sauce (such as Huy Fong Foods®)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon ( juice squeezed )
1 tablespoon of sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Can be eaten right away or refrigerate for 1 hour to chill and let the flavors blend even more! Pebre has to be eaten the same day you make it!
Tips:
You can adjust the seasoning to taste if you want more sugar or vinegar, don’t be afraid to add a splash of whatever your taste buds desire!
Is it spicy? To be honest I don’t like Spicy food and I wouldn’t consider this a spicy dish at all! If for some reason it is for you, just go lighter on the chili-garlic sauce, I have a feeling you will love it as is though!
Double this recipe to make a larger batch, we always do because we devour it and put it on everything!
Here are some ideas of food pairings to use Pebre with! ????
