My favorite Christmas cookies. These easy to make cookies are soft, chewy and filled with spice.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper.
Ingredients
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon ground ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
•1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup margarine
• 1 egg
• 6 tablespoons molasses
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

The Best Cookies I Make - Soft Molasses Cookies With Sweet Icing
When the weather turns cold, these are the perfect cookies to warm you up. Pillowy soft, with that hint of gingerbread flavor, these Soft Molasses Cookies are up there with my favorites.
Soft Molasses Cookies Ingredients
¾ cup Shortening
¾ cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup Unsulphured Molasses
1 tsp Vanilla
4 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Kosher Salt
2 tsp Dried Ginger
⅔ cup Water
Icing Ingredients
1 cup Powdered Sugar
3 TBSP Whole Milk
½ tsp Vanilla

The BEST Chewy Gooey MOLASSES COOKIES Ever!!
These are the BEST ever molasses cookies you will ever make.... we have been making them for many many years and they are by far the most delicious... give them a try... recipe: 1 Cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup shortening, 1/4 cup blackstrap molasses, 1 large egg, 2 1/4 cup organic flour, tsp baking soda, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp Cloves, 1/4 tsp salt, mix all ingredients together roll into balls coat with sugar bake at 325 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Molasses Cookies
2 1/4 cup AP flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks softened butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup molasses
1/3 cup of white sugar for coating cookies.
Preheat oven to 350°
mix together the first 6 ingredients
and set aside.
In stand mixer mix butter and both sugars until fluffy
add in egg yolk and continue to mix. add vanilla and molasses and mix.
Turn down to low and add in flour mixture.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and scoop out batter by 1 tablespoon. place in sugar and coat.
Bake in preheated oven for 11 minutes.
