This Mango season make this easy chutney recipe for family and serve it with any Indian Flat Bread.
Ingredients:
1 - Raw Mango ( Peeled & Chopped)
1/2 Chopped Onion
Water
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp jaggery
Method of preparation:
In a mixer jar add Raw Mango, chopped onion, grind them together.
Add some water to it and grind it once again.
The Raw Mango and onion paste is ready.
Add red chili powder, cumin seed powder, salt, jaggery to the paste and grind it again.

Andhra Style Raw Mango Pachadi Recipe
Ingredients
Raw Mango - 1 grated
Coconut - 1 cup grated
Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
Green chilli - 3
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
For Tempering
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli - 2
Asafoetida powder a pinch
A few Curry leaves
Method:
1. In a wide a pan add a tsp of oil, Roast the green chilli for about a minute.
2. In the same pan, now roast the urad dal till it turns slightly brown.
3. In a mixer jar add coconut, grated raw mango, garlic, cumin, roasted green chilli, roasted urad dal, salt & grind it into a coarse paste. If needed add little water while grinding.
4. Next tempering for that heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, red chilli, asafoetida powder, finally turn off the stove and add curry leaves.
5. Pour the temper ingredients over the pachadi.
6. Andhra Style Raw Mango Pachadi is ready, you can serve it with hot steaming rice.

To Make Coconut Mango Pachadi
Raw Mango Pieces - 1 Cup
Grated Coconut - 3/4 Cup
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Water - 2 Tsp
Tempering
Oil - 2 Tsp
Chana Dal - 1 Tsp
Urad Dal - 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli - 5 Nos
Asafoetida powder - 1/2 Tsp
Curry Leaves
Method:
1. Wash and peel the skin off the mango and chop it into small pieces.
2. Put them in a mixer jar and add the grated fresh coconut, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and cumin seeds too.
3. Add a very little water for the free movement inside the mixer jar.
4. Grind them all into a slightly coarse mixture. Transfer it to a bowl.
5. For the tempering, pour oil in a small pan and add chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and saute.
6. Once the mustard seeds start splattering, add the red chillies, curry leaves and asafoetida.
7. Mix well and saute. Transfer it to the ground pachadi.
8. Mix again and your easy peasy Coconut Mango Pachadi is ready to be enjoyed along with hot rice and ghee or even dosas sometimes.

The main ingredients for this pachadi are fresh coconut and mango. Use only sour mangoes to get the best out of this recipe. The making process is also very simple and easy and can be literally made within 10 mins. Since we use coconut in this dish, the pachadi cannot be stored for a much longer time. You can refrigerate and consume within a day from the time of preparing the pachadi. So do try this yummy, comforting pachadi and try it with rice or dosa if you like.
