How To Cook Jack Daniels Peach Cobbler Recipe in a Dutch Oven | Peach Cobbler Recipe

Please watch, like, subscribe, and share this video. Peach cobblers are great and this one is even better since I added Jack Daniels Whiskey. If you do not care for Jack Daniels you can omit it or use the bourbon of your choice. I have entered this peach cobbler recipe in four cook-offs and it won three and came in second once. Texas Style Cuisine does good when we are in cookoffs. If you don't want to use the dutch oven then cook it inside in your oven. Either way, it is tremendous. I use frozen peaches to make my peach cobbler. It seems they soak up the whiskey better than canned peaches do. Fresh peaches will soak up the Jack Daniels better also. In your oven, you can cook it at 350° for 30-45 minutes. Just cook it until the top is golden brown and you can see the juices boiling. If you have never used a Dutch oven to cook with over the campfire then you really should. I love cowboy cooking, campfire cooking, camp cooking, or you can call it chuckwagon cooking. Whatever you want to call it I really enjoy breaking out the cast iron pots and preparing a meal over th e fire. I like using Lodge brand dutch ovens. They are a quality dutch oven made in teh USA. Recipe
2 1/2lbs Frozen peaches
2cups Sugar
1/4cup Flour
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Lemon juiced
1/4cup Jack Daniels Black Label
pie crust
Mix all ingredients other than pie crust and let it sit until peaches have rendered a good amount of juice. Place pie crust in a large baking dish or dutch oven. sprinkle cinnamon and sugar across the top of crust along with 4 pats of butter. Cover with crust and bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 45 minutes. You want the juices to come to a boil so they will thicken and the crust browns.
