How To make Golden Lemon Cheese Pie
1 (9") graham cracker baked
Pie shell 1 pk (8-oz) cream cheese, softend
1 cn (14-oz) Eagle brand sweeten-
Ed milk (not evaporated Milk) 1/3 c Real lemon juice
1 ts Vanilla extract
Golden lemon topping: 1/3 c Sugar
2 1/2 ts Cornstarch
1/2 c Water
1/4 c Real lemon juice
1 Egg yolk
1 tb Margarine or butter
In mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle brand until smooth. Stir in lemon juice & vanilla. Pour into prepared crust. Top with golden lemon topping. Golden lemon topping: In saucepan, combine sugar & cornstarch. Add water, real lemon juice, & egg yolk; mix well. Over md heat, cook & stir until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in margarine or butter until melted. ~-

Desert - Lemon Cheesecake Pie Recipe [Episode 148]
In this video I am making a delicious Lemon Cheesecake Pie, topped with meringue. No words to describe how good this pie is! I am also showing you how to make the meringue to cover the pie.
Ingredients for the pie:
2 packages of 8 ounces each or 227g each Cream Cheese
½ cup or 150g Sour Cream
½ cup or 125g Sugar
1 Lemon Zest
¼ cup or 59mL Lemon Juice
2 eggs
1 Graham Pie Crust
1 beaten egg white
Ingredients for the Meringue:
4 egg whites
¼ teaspoon or 1.25mL Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon or 15mL Lemon Juice
¼ cup or 164g Sugar
¼ cup or 30g Confectioner Sugar
3 tablespoons or 37g unbleached all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons or 24g Potato Starch
1 Lemon Zest
Pre-heat the oven at 375ºF or 190ºC.
Brush the pie crust with the beaten egg white and place it in the oven for 5 minutes.
Beat cream cheese in a bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until creamy.
Add sour cream, lemon juice and lemon peel and mix well.
Add the eggs until everything is blend together.
Pour the mixture into the pie shell.
Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, until when inserting a knife it comes out clean.
Cool completely before adding the meringue.
Top the pie with the meringue and bake until it start looking golden brown (approximately 10 to 15 minutes).
Place it in the refrigerator until completely cold.

???? 1930 Magic Lemon Cream Pie. Welcome friends! Today on the Old Cookbook Show, we are making Magic Lemon Cream Pie, from the 1930 “New Magic In The Kitchen” cookbook. This pie recipe is essentially a Lemon Meringue Pie made with condensed milk. It is also what food historians believe to be the genesis of the ‘modern’ Key lime pie, as it breaks away from previous more labourious methods.
Ingredients:
1 can (sweetened) condensed milk (300 mL)
½ cup lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
2 eggs
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
Baked 9” pie shell or Cracker Crust:
Method:
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Blend together condensed milk, lemon juice, zest, and egg yolks.
Pour into a baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites until frothy and then add sugar while continuing to beat to stiff peaks.
Cover pie with meringue and then baked 15-18 minutes until meringue is cooked and golden brown.
