Skillet Lasagna!! Easy 30 Minute Stove Top Lasagne Recipe
Learn how to make a super simple, delicious lasagna...in a skillet! Everything you love about lasagna but in one pot on the stove top. No dirty dishes, no pre-boiling anything, no pre-cooking, no assembling, just pure deliciousness without all the fuss.
What you'll need:
1-2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
1/2 pound 85/15 ground beef
1/2 pound mild Italian sausage, casings removed
8 'oven ready' lasagna noodles
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 cup (7.5 oz) ricotta cheese
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
In a large skillet (12), saute onions over medium-high heat in olive oil just until translucent. Add in beef and Italian sausage. Crumble and cook meat until browned well. Drain off fat. Add in lasagna noodles that have been broken into pieces. Pour on top: crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover and cook 10 minutes WITHOUT stirring! After 10 minutes, carefully remove lid and stir. Add in salt, sugar and garlic powder. Mix well and separate any noodles stuck together. Replace lid and cook an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. After the second 10 minutes is up, turn off heat, remove lid, stir well and again separate any stuck noodles. Sprinkle oregano over top and dollop spoonfuls of the ricotta cheese over top. Replace lid and let rest for 5 minutes. When the ricotta is melted, sprinkle the mozzarella on top and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes just to melt and brown the cheese. Let rest again for a few minutes and serve. Serves 6 well. Enjoy!
**If you are using the NON-oven ready noodles (the ones you must cook first before making a traditional lasagna), keep the same amount of noodles, add an additional 1/2 cup water and another 5-10 minutes on the cooking time.

VEG BREAD LASAGNA
Preparation time : 15-20 minutes
Cooking time : 25-30 minutes
Servings : 2
Ingredients
For Toasting Bread
4 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
8-10 Bread Slices (ब्रेड स्लाइस)
For Stuffing
1 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
1 tbsp Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
1 medium Onion - chopped (प्याज़)
1 medium Capsicum - diced (शिमला मिर्च)
¼ cup Sweet Corn Kernels - boiled (भुट्टे के दाने)
⅓ cup Green Peas - boiled (हरे मटर)
2 fresh Green Chillies - chopped (हरी मिर्च)
1 tsp Oregano (ओरिगैनो)
½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes (चिल्ली फ्लेक्स)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
1½ cups Tomato Puree (टमाटर प्यूरी)
1 medium Tomato - chopped (टमाटर)
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup (टाॅमेटो केचप)
For Second Stuffing
1 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
1 tbsp Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
1 medium Onion - chopped (प्याज़)
1 medium Broccoli - chopped (ब्रोकोली)
200 gm Paneer - grated (पनीर)
For Marinated Tomato
2 medium Tomato - sliced (टमाटर)
1 tsp Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
few Coriander Leaves - chopped (धनिया पत्ती)
Salt to taste, (नमक स्वादानुसार)
½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes (चिल्ली फ्लेक्स)
1 tbsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)
For Tomato sauce
1 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
1 tbsp Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)
1 tbsp Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
1 cup Tomato Puree (टमाटर प्यूरी)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
½ tsp Sugar (चीनी)
¼ cup Tomato Ketchup (टाॅमेटो केचप)
½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes (चिल्ली फ्लेक्स)
½ tsp Oregano (ओरिगैनो)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (जैतून का तेल)
Other Ingredients
pinch of Red Chilli Flakes (चिल्ली फ्लेक्स)
Grated Cheese (कसा हुआ चीज)
Process
For Toasting Bread
Take the bread slices and cut the edges then flatten them using a rolling pin.
Now add butter in a pan and toast one side of the bread then remove and set aside.
For Stuffing
In a pan heat oil and butter then add garlic, onion and saute until translucent.
Now add capsicum, sweet corn kernels, green peas, green chillies and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
Then add oregano, red chilli flakes, salt, tomato puree and continue cooking until everything is cooked completely and thickened.
Add the chopped tomato, tomato ketchup and cook for another minute then remove and set aside for further use.
For Second Stuffing
Heat oil and butter in a pan then add garlic, onion and saute until translucent.
Now add broccoli and saute for a minute on medium heat.
Then add the grated paneer and mix everything properly and cook for another minute. Remove and keep aside.
For Marinated Tomato
In a bowl add sliced tomatoes, garlic, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli flakes, olive oil and mix everything then set aside.
For Tomato sauce
Heat butter and olive oil in a pan then add garlic saute for a few seconds then add the tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Now add salt, sugar, tomato ketchup, red chilli flakes, oregano and continue cooking for another minute.
Then finish with extra virgin olive oil and set aside to cool down
For Assembling Bread Lasagna
Keep a heavy bottom pan to preheat on high heat.
Meanwhile, take one bread slice and place one paneer stuffing on it, then take another bread slice, place the tomato stuffing on it and repeat this and make four layers with them.
Now add a layer of the tomato stuffing in the pan, the palace, the layered bread then sprinkle some red chilli flakes and grated cheese cover and cook until the cheese has melted.
Serve hot immediately.

✅Ingredients
• 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1 large white onion minced
• 5 cloves garlic crushed
• 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
• 2 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
• 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup white or red wine (can substitute beef broth or chicken broth)
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
• 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
• 1 teaspoon ground oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley divided
• 1 pound lasagna noodles
• 30 ounces ricotta cheese
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 pound deli sliced mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
✅Instructions
1️⃣ 00:14 - In a large pot over medium heat, add in ground sausage and ground beef. Use a spoon to break up the meat into small pieces. Add in onion and garlic and cook until meat is well browned, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar, fresh basil, fennel, oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Pour in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and wine. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer 1-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
2️⃣ 02:48 - Meanwhile, place lasagna noodles into the bottom of a pan. Pour hot tap water directly over the noodles, making sure the pasta is completely immersed in the water. Let them soak for 30 minutes, then drain and discard water.
3️⃣ 03:19 - In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining 2 tablespoons parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and nutmeg. Refrigerate until ready to assemble lasagna.
4️⃣ 03:52 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a deep 9x13 pan or lasagna dish.
5️⃣ 04:00 - To assemble, spread about 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared pan. Place 4 noodles on top. Spread with 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with 1/4 of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1½ cups meat sauce over mozzarella, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Repeat layering two more times to create three complete layers. To finish, place a final layer of pasta, topped with another 1 cup of meat sauce to cover the pasta. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
6️⃣ 05:47 - Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes to allow cheese to brown. Serve hot.
