Recipe For Lasagna With Ricotta Cheese, Mozzarella and Parmesan with homemade meat sauce.
Our easy recipe for making lasagna with layers of homemade meat sauce and noodles, layered with a ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan blend, and then topped with more parm! This recipe is so good, it’s the kind of lasagna you dream about and this homemade lasagna is easy enough for weeknight dinners, it’s perfect for making ahead or and it’s one of my favorites for making two and sharing one with a friend.
Recipe For Lasagna With Ricotta Cheese, Mozzarella & Parmesan
2 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon tomato paste
28 oz whole peeled tomatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
16 oz ricotta cheese
16 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
1 cup parmesan, grated
1 box lasagna noodles
Recipe For Lasagna With Ricotta Cheese, Mozzarella and Parmesan Directions
Homemade Meat Sauce
Brown the ground beef, and drain off any extra fat. Add 1 tablespoon tomato paste, and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, crushing large tomatoes, and stir. Add the spices, stir and simmer for 1 - 2 hours.
Ricotta Cheese Mixture
Mix together the ricotta, mozzarella and 1/2 cup of parmesan.
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Remove from water, and let cool laying flat in a single layer on a clean kitchen towel.
Assemble the lasagna in layers. Top with the reserved grated parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil, and return the dish to the oven. Cook for another 15 minutes to brown the cheese on top.
Let sit for 15 -20 minutes before serving.

Lasagne with Homemade Ricotta Cheese
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
Beef Mince Sauce:
-Oil ½ Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped 2 medium
-Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 5-6 cloves
-Beef mince (Beef qeema) ½ kg
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tsp
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tsp
-Tomato paste 2 tbs
-Tomato puree 450 gms
-Dried oregano ½ tsp
-Pani (Water) 1 Cup or as required
Ricotta Cheese:
-Doodh (Milk) Fresh 2 litres
-Cream 1 Cup
-Namak (Salt) 2 tsp or to taste
-Sirka (Vinegar) 4 tbs or as required
-Muslin/Cheese cloth
Ricotta Cheese Layer:
-Ricotta cheese 2 Cups
-Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp
-Dried basil leaves ¼ tsp
-Dried oregano ¼ tsp
-Anda (Egg) 2
Assembling:
-Lasagne sheets 12
-Cooked beef mince
-Ricotta cheese layer
-Cheddar cheese grated as required
-Mozzarella cheese grated as required
-Dried oregano to sprinkle
Directions:
-In pot,add water,salt and bring it to boil,add lasagne sheets and cook for 3-4 minutes then strain and set aside.
For Beef Mince Sauce:
-In pot,add oil,onion and cook until translucent.
-Add garlic and mix well.
-Add beef mince and mix well until it changes color.
-Add red chili powder,cumin seeds,black pepper powder,salt,red chili crushed and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
-Add tomato paste and tomato puree,mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
-Add dried oregano,water and mix well.
-Cover and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes or until done & set side.
For Ricotta Cheese:
-In pot,add milk,cream and salt,mix well and simmer on low flame for 10-12 minutes until milk is boiled.
-Add vinegar,mix well and cook on low flame until curdle and keep stirring in between (the milk should have separated into clumps of milky white curds and thin, watery, yellow-colored whey).
-Set a strainer over a bowl and pour the curdle mixture through the strainer to separate whey.
-Now line the strainer tray with muslin cloth/cheese cloth and enclose curdle with muslin cloth and put heavy weight on it.
-Let the ricotta drain for 45 minutes.
-Fresh ricotta can be used right away or refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a week.
Ricotta Cheese Layer:
-In bowl,add ricotta cheese and crumble it with the help of hands,add salt,dried basil leaves,dried oregano,eggs and mix well & set aside.
Assembling:
-Grease baking dish with oil,place lasagne sheets,add cooked beef mince and spread it,add ricotta cheese layer and spread it.
-Place another layer of lasagne sheets,spread cooked beef mince and ricotta cheese layer.
-Place lasagne sheets layer and spread cooked beef mince.
-Add cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese & sprinkle dried oregano.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 30 to 35 minutes or until cheese melts & golden brown color appears.
-Lasagne is ready to serve.

Lazy Lasagna Casserole
Y'all are going to love my Lazy Lasagna recipe. It is a cheat on one of our favorite casseroles, Lasagna, but without all the extra work. So I knew this would be a great addition to our Marching in With Casseroles 2023. Let me know what you think about this version and y'all enjoy.

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained of grease.
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1 25 ounce bag of cheese raviolis (no need to thaw)
1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Spoon enough spaghetti sauce into a 9x9 prepared dish just to cover.
Add one layer of raviolis
Again spoon sauce over the raviolis.
Spread half of the prepared ground beef over the sauce.
Add 1/3 of the cheese and sprinkle with the seasonings.
Repeat steps again and then top with last layer of raviolis.
Top with remaining sauce and cheese. sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Back in a preheated 350°F oven for 30-40 minutes.

Veg Lasagna Recipe | No Oven Recipe | बिना अवन के लज़ान्या बनाओ घरपे | Chef Sanjyot Keer
Full written recipe for Veg lasagna
For red sauce:
Ingredients:
· Olive oil 2 tbsp
· Onion 1 nos. medium sized (chopped)
· Garlic 1 tbsp (chopped)
· Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
· Tomato puree 2 cups (fresh0
· Tomato puree 200gm (market bought )
· Salt to taste
· Chilli flakes 1 tbsp
· Oregano 1 tsp
· Sugar 1 pinch
· Black pepper 1 pinch
· Basil leaves 10-12 leaves
Method:
· Set a pan on high heat & add the olive oil & let it heat nicely.
· Further add onions & garlic, stir & cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
· Now add kashmiri red chilli powder & stir it lightly then add tomato purees, salt, chilli flakes, oregano, sugar & black pepper, stir everything well, cover & cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
· Further add the basil leaves by tearing then with your hands & stir well.
· Your red sauce is ready.
For white sauce:
Ingredients:
· Butter 30gm
· Refined flour 30gm
· Milk 400gm
· Salt to taste
· Nutmeg 1 pinch
Method:
· Set a pan on high heat, add the butter into it & let it melt completely, then add the flour & stir it well with the spatula & make sure you lower the flame & cook for 2-3 minutes, the texture of it will change from doughy to sandy.
· Further add the milk in 3 batches while continuously whisky it, it should be lump free, cook until the sauce thickens & becomes smooth.
· Now add salt to taste & nutmeg, stir well.
· Your white sauce is ready.
Sauteed veggies:
Ingredients:
· Olive oil 2 tbsp
· Garlic 1 tbsp
· Carrot 1/3 cup (diced)
· Zucchini 1/3 cup (diced)
· Mushroom 1/3 cup (chopped)
· Yellow bell pepper ¼ cup (diced)
· Green bell pepper ¼ cup (diced)
· Red bell pepper ¼ cup (diced)
· Corn kernels ¼ cup
· Broccoli ¼ cup (blanched)
· Sugar 1 pinch
· Oregano 1 tsp
· Chilli flakes 1 tsp
· Salt to taste
· Black pepper 1 pinch
Method:
· Set a pan on high heat & olive olive, let it heat well & then add garlic, stir & cook for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.
· Further add carrots & zucchini, stir well & cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
· Now add all the remaining vegetables & ingredients, stir well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
· Your sauteed veggies are ready.
For lasagna sheets:
Ingredients:
· Refined flour 200gm
· Salt 1/4 tsp
· Water 100-110 ml
Method:
· In a large bowl add the refined flour along with the remaining ingredients & add water in batches to make a semi-tough dough.
· Once the flour comes together after mixing, cover it with a damp cloth & let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
· After the dough has rested, transfer it onto the kitchen platform & knead it well for 7-8 minutes, the texture of the dough should become smooth, cover it with a damp cloth & let it rest for half an hour again.
· Once the dough has rested divide it into 4 equal parts & form them into roundels.
· Further, place the roundel onto a flat surface & roll it into a thin chapati using a rolling pin, keep dusting flour if it sticks to the rolling pin.
· Once you have rolled it out, trim the edges using a knife to form a large rectangle, dive the rectangle into smaller, equal sized rectangles.
· Your lasagna sheets are ready.
To make the makeshift oven:
· Take a large handi & spread ample amount of salt in it, place a small ring mold or cookie cutter & cover the handi, set it on high flame & let it preheat for 10-15 minutes at least.
Layering & baking of lasagna:
· Red sauce (very thin layer)
· Lasagna sheets
· Red sauce
· Sauteed veggies
· White sauce
· Mozzarella cheese
· Parmesan cheese
· Lasagna sheets
· Repeat the same layering process 4-5 times or until your baking tray fills, you should at least have 4-6 layers.
· Bake for 30-45 minutes in the makeshift oven. (30-35 minutes at 180 C in an oven)
