How To make Chocolate Hazelnut Brandy Torte with Biscotti
11 oz Semisweet baking chocolate
1/2 lb Butter, room temp
2 Eggs
1/3 c Sugar
3 tb Brandy
7 oz PEAK FREEN SWEET-MEAL
-BISCUITS", coarsely -broken 1/2 c Whole toasted hazelnuts
In top of double boiler melt chocolate and butter together. In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat eggs and sugar at high speed until lemon colored. Add the chocolate/butter mixture and beat at medium speed until the butter is completely mixed in. Add the brandy & mix throughly. Pour the mixture over the biscuits. Mix well. Line a 9" cake pan with plastic wrap. Pour in the mixture and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze until ready to serve.

This cake recipe for Hazelnut cake with Nutella in a bundt pan has become one of my favorite cake recipes. It’s not just easy to make but even more there’s swirls of decadent Nutella hazelnut spread with espresso and liqueur making this cake nice, moist, chocolatey and just incredibly delicious overall. Finish it off with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and you’re all set. Trust me, it won’t last very long. Enjoy from my family to yours!
INGREDIENTS
6 eggs
1 cup of butter unsalted at room temperature
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 cups of flour pastry
2 cups of ground roasted hazelnuts
3 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup of coffee or espresso
1/4 cup of liqueur
300g of Nutella
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 325F
2. Take eggs and separate egg whites from egg yolks placing in separate bowls. Using a mixing bowl, add egg whites and a pinch of salt and using a mixer at medium to high speed. Mix for approx 5 minutes or until stiff peaks. Once done place egg whites in a separate bowl.
3. In the same mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of butter, 1 cup of sugar and 6 egg yolks and mix.
4. Place 3 teaspoons of baking powder in flour with a pinch of salt, mix together and put aside.
5. Take your butter mixture and add 1/4 cup of your favorite liqueur (I used Baileys) and 1/3 cup of espresso or strong coffee and mix well.
6. Slowly add hazelnuts and flour to the butter mixture and mix. Add half of egg whites to your mixture fold and then add the remaining egg whites and continue folding. Watch video for instructions on how to fold.
7. Grease bundt pan or loaf pan and pour the mixture half way, add Nutella, pour remaining mixture and add more Nutella on the top.
8. Place in oven for 60 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Biscotti Ingredients:
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp Kahlua or coffee liquer
1 tsp almond extract
3 large eggs, room-temperature
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup currants
Method:
Combine butter, sugar, Kahlua, and almond extract into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Add eggs and break apart yolks, whisk till combined.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and currants and fold into wet mixture just until combined. Don't over-mix here.
Cover dough with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to set for 20-30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit while waiting on dough to rest.
After dough has rested cover surface with flour and knead dough a couple times just to get to a workable state.
Form into a disc and flatten, divide disc into two halves.
Flatten each half into a rectangular log shape, and transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake off for 30 minutes.
Let sit for 15 minutes and cool.
Cut each log into biscotti cookie strips. 12-15 depending on how wide you cut each individual piece.
Place cut side down back on baking sheet and bake for a further 7 minutes.
Flip cookies over and bake one last time for 7 more minutes.
Let sit and cool completely. The longer they set out the crispier they get.

???? Hazelnut Brown Butter Blondies Recipe
Blondies... The original 'Brownie' recipe before chocolate muscled in and took over. Here we do a version of a blondies recipe that features brown butter and hazelnuts. Often they are called 'Blonde Brownies' or Blondie Brownies'... we just call this recipe delicious! Hazelnut Brown Butter Blondies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup (250 mL / 140g) hazelnuts
1 cup (250 mL / 230g) unsalted butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups (315g) dark brown sugar
4 tsp (20 mL) pure vanilla extract
4 tsp (20 mL) hazelnut liqueur
2 cups (500 mL / 320g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp (5 mL / 7g) coarse salt
Our hazelnut liqueur recipe:
Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180ºC)
Toast the hazelnuts on a sheet tray in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Roughly chop the hazelnuts in a food processor.
Brown the butter over medium heat.
Stir occasionally, it will foam and spatter as the water content 'boils' off.
The butter is ready when the foaming stops and you see brown bits at the bottom of the pan.
Allow to cool.
Grease an 9x9 baking pan and line with a parchment paper sling.
Whisk together flour and salt.
In a stand mixer, whisk together eggs and brown sugar.
When light and frothy whisk in vanilla, cooled butter, and hazelnut liqueur.
Add flour mixture to the butter/sugar/egg mixture, and mix just until combined.
Add the hazelnuts.
Mix until evenly distributed.
Scrape dough into your prepared baking pan and spread into the corners.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
You'll know it's done when you see a crispy top that's just starting to crack with firm slightly-browned edges.
Remove from the oven.
Cool completely before removing from the pan.

Para los bizcochos:
250 g de azúcar
3 huevos
160 ml de aceite vegetal
200 ml de leche
1 cdta de vainilla
250 g de harina de trigo
70 g de cacao en polvo
2 cdta de levadura química
1 pizca de sal
100 ml de agua caliente
2 cdas de miel
Para el almíbar:
200 ml de agua
100 g de azúcar
1 chorrito de licor de avellanas
Para la ganache:
350 g de chocolate negro
700 ml de nata para montar
Para la ganache de la decoración:
80 g de chocolate negro
40 ml de nata para montar
20 g de mantequilla
