How To make China Sam's Chicken Wings
1/4 c Lite Teriyaki Marinade
1/4 c Oriental BBQ Sauce, Kikoman
1/4 c Lee Kum Kee, (oyster sauce)
1 tb Brown sugar
12 md Chicken wings, whole
1 ts Oriental Season, Amyway
1 ts Hot & Spicy Stir Fry Season
1 ts Soy, Kikoman
Separate drumette from rest of wing. Place on broiler pan skin side down. Season with Oriental Seasoning and Hot & Spicy Stir Fry Seasoning (from Calaphon). Place on middle rack of preheated oven to broil. As wings start to cook, begin making dipping sauce. Place Teriyaki, Oriental BBQ, Soy and brown sugar together, whisk. When wings start to color good, 10 minutes or so, remove from oven and turn over, season slightly, return to oven. When wings are Golden brown on this side, remove. Dip and shake of excess sauce. After all have been dipped return to broiler pan and return to oven. Let broil until a bit crusted, not more than a few minutes. Great as an appetizer or side dish with fried rice. Who says healthy food can’t taste good? My wedding is just around the corner, and I am inspired to make healthy dishes that also taste amazing! My favorite restaurant in Vancouver is Phnom Penh, and their Vietnamese Inspired Chicken Wings is the best out there! Today, I share my healthy version of air-fried CRISPY chicken wings tossed in a sour and savory garlic sauce. You NEED to give these refreshing and crispy Vietnamese Inspired Chicken Wings a try; they are perfect for the summer!
Everyone’s definition of “HEALTHY” is different; for me, healthy means less sugar, more whole foods, and no deep-frying. You can adjust my recipes based on your dietary restrictions. For example, if you are cutting out sugar, I recommend using monk sugar, and if you are cutting out gluten, I recommend using rice flour. These Vietnamese Inspired Chicken Wings pair perfectly with a side of rice, salad, or steamed veggies. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing alot of fun, delicious and healthy recipes to incorporate into your diet.

Crispy and crunchy Korean fried chicken glazed in a sticky, sweet, and spicy sauce! This dakgangjeong recipe uses bite sized boneless chicken pieces, so it cooks up fast for a quick snack!

Ingredients:
Chicken
1 pound boneless skinless chicken thigh and/or breast
1/4 teaspoon salt
pinch pepper
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
1 tablespoon rice wine or mirin
1/3 cup potato starch or cornstarch
oil for deep frying
Sauce
