How To make Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork ChopsG
1/2 c Carrot
Shredded
1/4 c Pecans :
Chopped
1/4 c Cheese, Blue crumbled
1 Onions, Green :
sliced
1 t Worcestershire sauce
4 Pork loin chops
1/4 c Yogurt, Plain
4 ts Flour, All-purpose
3/4 c Milk
1/2 ts Instant chicken bouillon
ds Pepper
In a small bowl, combine carrot, pecans, blue cheese, green onion and worcestershire sauce for stuffing. Trim fat from meat. Make a pocket in each chop by cutting horizontally into the chop from the fat side almost to the bone. Spoon about 1/4 of the stuffing into each pocket. Fasten with wooden toothpicks if needed. Grill until brown and cooked through. In a small sauce pan, mix yogurt and flour. Add milk, chicken bouillon, and pepper. Cook and stir until thickening and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. To serve, remove the toothpicks, and serve sauce over chops. Original Posters Notes: From the Better Homes and Gardens "Grill It Right" cookbook. Got the book at Sam's about 4 months ago. Very good book. I fixed this because my wife LOVES blue cheese, any form, on or in anything <g>. I am so-so on it, but this is a very good recipe, and well worth the trouble to make the pockets and stuffing. Picky 13 year old (It's not a big mac) even ate it <g>. In this recipe video April makes a Stuffed Pork Chop recipe. This would make a wonderful main dish during the holidays. It will be just beautiful on your Christmas dinner table or New Years Eve table. It can also prepped ahead of time, so it won't take too long to prepare on the big day.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 bone in, 1 inch thick pork chops
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary, or 2 tbls fresh
1 cup apple, finely chopped
1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbls maple syrup
2 tbls dijon
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, or 1 tsp fresh
1 1/4 tsp salt, divided
1 tsp pepper
1 tbls butter
2 tbls olive or canola oil, divided
Directions
Using a sharp. pairing knife cut a slit in each chop through to the bone to create a pouch for the stuffing. Set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the oil and butter. Add the onion and celery to the skillet and cook until softened. Next add the garlic, rosemary, apples, breadcrumbs, chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper as well. Stir everything together and then remove from the heat and set aside to cool. Once the stuffing has cooled, stuff it into each chop.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
MIx together the mustard, maple syrup, remaining 1/2 tsp rosemary, 3/4 tsp salt and 3/4 teaspoon pepper. Rub the mixture on the outsides of the stuffed chops.
Heat the skillet to medium high heat and add the remaining oil. Once the oil is hot add the pork chops, brown for 3-4 minutes, carefully flip and brown for another 3 minutes. Do this step in 2 batches if you do not have a large enough skillet. Transfer the chops to a large baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the pork is fully cooked. Enjoy!

Pork Chops with Bleu Cheese Sauce with Michael's Home Cooking
I use chops that are fairly thin for a dinner that comes together quickly in about 15 minutes. The sauce is delicious and turns out rich and creamy. You must make this!
Ingredients:
2 to 4 pork chops
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Seasoned Salt to taste
2 large cloves of garlic
1 sprig of rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 cup white wine (like chardonnay)
1/4 cup whipping cream
2 ounces bleu cheese
Heat your pan over medium heat.
Add your oil and cook your seasoned chops for 3 to 4 minutes each
side.
Remove the chops and set them aside.
Add your rosemary and chopped garlic, cook for 30 seconds.
Add your white wine and reduce 2 and 1/2 to three minutes till reduced by half.
Add your cream and bleu cheese, reduce heat and melt in cheese till creamy and you are ready to serve.
****Note... Please use a quality blue cheese that you have to slice. The crumbles sold at Walmart and smaller grocery stores does not work in this recipe.
Also if using fresh Rosemary, you can add it to your pan when frying the chops.
If using dried Rosemary, I would add it as I did in video.
