Juicy Oven-Baked BBQ Chicken Legs and Thighs
Welcome! Today we're going to whip up #BakedBBQChickenLegs and Thighs! You can access the written recipe with the link below!
This #dinnerrecipe is totally foolproof and comes together with a simple mix of ingredients.
We'll take a couple of extra steps to ensure this family favorite is as good as #bakedbarbecuechicken gets, and we'll start by patting the chicken dry! This will help us to get a good sear on the skin. Why do we sear it? To add texture! Rubbery chicken skin? Nope -- not happening, here.
Once the chicken is dry, it's time to oil and season it. If you have a favorite seasoning blend for #darkmeatchicken, feel free to use that here. I always use my TAK Seasoning, and you can find the measurements here: But just watch -- you probably won't need them!
Rub the #chickendrumsticks and thighs with oil, sprinkle over the seasoning and transfer to a skillet. Sear on both sides, then add it to a casserole dish. Grab your favorite, sticky-sweet #BBQsauce, spread it on thick, and bake!
This is an easy dinner idea the entire family will love. Remember, you can get this recipe and hundreds more awesome #comfortfood dinner ideas at and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're here!
BLOOPER NOTE: Don't mind the fact that I said chicken breasts in the video. Oy -- I misspoke! This recipe is for bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs, and drumsticks only!
