The Ultimate Potato Soup
6- strips (uncooked) bacon cut into small pieces
3- Tbl butter
1- med yellow onion chopped
3- large garlic cloves minced
1/3C- all-purpose flour
2 1/2lb potatoes peeled and diced
4C- Chicken Broth
2C- Milk
2/3C- Heavy Cream
1 /2Tsp- Salt
1Tsp- Pepper
¼-1/2Tsp chili powder
2/3C- Sour Cream
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Hot Rolls:
2(1/4 ounce) packages dry yeast
2cups water
4tablespoons sugar
4 1⁄2cups well sifted flour
2teaspoons salt
2eggs
4tablespoons soft shortening

Hello Friends.. Today we made Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup! We pared this soup with a Garlic Tear & Share Bread from John Kirkwoods Bread Cookbook! Not only was the bread absolutely delicious but it took the Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup to another level! We were Amazed at how the flavors of the Soup and the Oregano in the bread melded together perfectly! The soup is a recipe that we've had for years but the bread is a new to us recipe and OHH My was it ever so yummy! Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup
1C uncooked Wild Rice
1lb Chicken
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Onion, chopped
2 Carrots, diced
2 stalks Celery, diced
7C Chicken Broth
1/2C Butter
3/4C Flour
2C Milk
Instructions
Rinse Wild Rice in cold, running water and drain well. Place in Crockpot.
Season Chicken with Salt & Pepper to taste. Place in Crockpot over Rice.
Add Onion, Carrots, & Celery.
Add Chicken Broth.
Cover and cook on high for about 3-4 Hours or on low for 7-8 hours.
In a saucepan over medium high heat, heat butter until melted. Add Flour and whisk into a smooth paste. Continue to cook for about 1 minute or until lightly browned.
Gently add Milk, whisking vigorously to prevent lumps, for about 3 – 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Remove Chicken from pot and shred using two forks. Return shredded Chicken to Slow Cooker.
Slowly add Milk mixture to combine, and continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes or until Chicken is heated through and soup is thickened to desired constituency.
Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.

This week the girls and I have been doing a lot of cooking at home since we’re home from work and school for the holidays. On the Agenda this week we have Tacos, Fresh Pasta..
Today we made Chunky Vegetable Soup! And yes they ate it ????????. INFACT! They loved it! ????????????????❤️????✨ They loved it so much they wanted to share it with you guys!
Chunky Vegetable & Kidney Bean Soup:
Ingredient:
Minced Garlic
Small Diced Celery
Small Diced Carrots
Cherry Tomatoes
Peeled and Diced Sweet Potato
Brussels
Kidney Beans
Red bell pepper
1 (not chicken bouillon cube)
Complete seasoning
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
Salt (optional)
Vegetable Broth
Step 1: Add all ingredients except for the Brussels sprout to your pot, cover all ingredients with your vegetable broth and let it cook on medium heat until your vegetables are tender. Add broth as needed.
Step 2: When your vegetables are cooked, Turn off the stove. Add your shaved Brussels sprouts and cover with a lid. Let it sit for at-least 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!!

⚫️ TACO SOUP RECIPE ⚫️
???? Ingredients: Diced onion, diced tomatoes, Pico de gallo or Rotel, diced bell peppers, green onion, cilantro, black beans, corn, nacho cheese sauce or velveeta, lime, avocado, shredded Mexican cheese blend, chicken broth, sour cream, taco seasoning, cayenne pepper, garlic powder.
???? INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Dice up your onions, tomatoes and finely mince cilantro. Cook vegetables with seasonings until they are soft.
2. Add ground beef and brown it.
3. Add taco seasoning.
4. Drain some of the grease.
5. Add black beans, corn, pico de gallo or Rotel and stir to combine.
6. Add nacho cheese (1 can)
7. Add chicken broth
8. Add half & half
9. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.
10. Simmer for 10 minutes then serve.
11. Garnish with cheese, diced tomato, avocado, cilantro, green onion and sour cream.

⚫️ SAUSAGE, KALE & POTATO SOUP ⚫️
???? Ingredients: Kale (1 large bag), red potatoes, sage sausage or regular sausage, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, chicken broth, fresh garlic, butter, heavy whipping cream, fresh parsley, garlic salt, thyme, garlic powder, rubbed sage, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Dice onions and thinly slice potatoes.
2. Cook (diced) onions with seasonings until they are soft.
3. Add sausage and brown it.
4. Add minced garlic and cook 1-2 minutes.
5. Drain some of the grease if needed.
6. Add butter, thyme sprigs, chicken broth potatoes, some parsley and kale.
7. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.
8. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until potatoes are soft and kale is to your desired texture.
9. Garnish with parmesan cheese, parsley.
10. Serve with garlic bread.

⚫️ SHRIMP BISQUE ⚫️

Ingredients: Shrimp (chopped), heavy cream, coconut cream or coconut milk (1 can), shrimp bouillon, seafood stock, tomato paste, cayenne pepper, fresh garlic (minced), white onion (diced) parsley (finely chopped), Parmesan (freshly grated), smoked Paprika, garlic-salt, corn starch, and garlic bread.
???? INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Dice onions and dice shrimp, finely chop parsley and grate Parmesan.
2. Cook (diced) onions with seasonings until they are soft.
3. Add minced garlic and cook 1-2 minutes.
4. Add coconut cream (1 can) and seafood stock (measure for your desired thickness).
5. Chopped Shrimp and parsley cook 1-2 minutes.
6. Add corn-starch slurry (1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 4 tablespoons of water). Stir into soup.
7. Simmer for 1 minute until shrimp pieces turn pink.
8. Use emulsion blender to break up the shrimp pieces.
9. Garnish with parsley.
10. Serve with fresh garlic bread.
