How to make Homemade Pizza Pie
Servings: 16 servings
Ingredients
Pizza Dough
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
5 cups all-purpose flour (650 grams)
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 cups warm water
2 teaspoons dry yeast
Pizza Topping
1/2 onion, sliced
2 ounces ham or sausages
1 tomato, sliced
17 ounces Mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 egg
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
Measure all dough ingredients into bread maker pan.
Select “Dough” setting on Menu.
Meanwhile, slice onion, ham, tomato and shred Mozzarella cheese.
When dough is ready, divide it into two roughly even halves.
Roll each half out with a rolling pin to cover a Pizza Stone
Place first rolled half on a pizza stone.
Place a plate to mark a circle in the middle.
Spread Ketchup in a layer onto the dough.
Top the marked spot in the middle with onion, ham or sausages and tomato. Top the “big circle” outside the marked spot with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Put upper crust in place. Lift the second half of dough with two hands and position it over the pizza pie. Lower it gently so that it covers the whole pie evenly.
Crimp the edges of the crust. Rotate the pizza stone as you go until the pattern goes all the way around the pizza pie.
Place a plate on the top to mark a circle in the middle.
Make cuts from the middle circle towards the edge.
Twist each cut piece in one direction.
Brush top with egg.
Spread sesame seeds on top
Bake in preheated oven at 350 F (180 C) until golden brown, about 35-40 minutes.

Noreen's Kitchen: Making Jalapeno Cheese Bread and Pizza Crust with Beer Starter
Greetings! Today we have been so busy playing with sourdough! Now I want to use the sourdough we made using the beer. This is how I made the dough:
2 Cups Sourdough Starter
1 Cup White Wheat Flour
3 Cups Bread Flour
1 Cup Warm Water
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Demarrara Sugar
2 Tablespoons Buttermilk Powder
1 Tablespoon Vital Wheat Gluten
I mixed in my KitchenAid and allowed it to knead for 7 minutes. I placed it in an oiled bowl and covered it with some plastic wrap. Put it in my oven that I had previously preheated to 200 degrees and shut off prior to kneading the dough. Left the oven light on for additional supplementary warmth and let it rise until it was doubled, which took about 2 hours.
I took a portion of the dough so that I could make a 16 inch pizza for lunch. I made the remaining dough into a loaf of jalapeno and cheese bread. I added 1/2 cup of finely diced cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of finely diced Monterey Jack cheese along with 1/2 cup of pickled jalapenos that were drained, squeezed dry and chopped. I kneaded those into the dough and formed a loaf. I placed the shaped loaf on a pizza pan covered in parchment paper and then covered it with plastic wrap and allowed it to rest in the warmed oven until doubled. Again about 2 hours. I removed the risen bread from the oven and preheated it to 400 degrees.
Prior to placing the bread back into the hot oven, I threw a cup of ice cubes into the bottom of the oven to create a steam oven environment. The bread baked for 25 minutes.
I hope that this series inspires you to try to make your own sourdough and create your own bread with wild caught yeast. It is really satisfying knowing that even if you don't have yeast, you can create it yourself with a little time and effort.

That's right, I cooking up well over 20 pizza dough balls and put many in the freezer for upcoming easy freezer meals!
In this big batch freezer cooking video, I also show how I make low carb Lavish Bread pizzas in the oven PLUS I also show you how to cook a sheet pan pizzas, too. Just how many bread machine pizzas do I make in total? The math gets a little wonky because as I'm making them over several days, some days I also feed my family pizza for dinner, haha! We count down the bread machine pizza dough totals though.
