Chocolate Cream Cheese Cookies!
Spring is fast approaching and there is nothing better than a good cookie! Chocolate Cream Cheese Cookies are one of my favorite cookies of all time. Something magical happens when the traditional ingredients of a chocolate cookie are paired with soft cream cheese. The cream cheese in this chocolate cream cookie recipe ensures a soft chewy interior while maintaining a firm exterior and slight crunch. During your next visit to the market or grocery store, grab some dark or milk chocolate and a packet of cream cream and try this recipe. The other ingredients you probably already have in your refrigerator and/or pantry. These cookies are sure to be a crowd pleaser and conversation starter!
Here is the recipe:
84g/ 6 tbsp. unsalted butter (soft)
56g/ 4 tbsp. cream cheese (soft)
200g/ 1 cup granulated sugar
250g/ 2 cups all-purpose flour
4g/1 tsp baking soda
2g/½ tsp. salt
2g/1/2 tsp chocolate extract
2g/ ½ tsp vanilla
1g/ ¼ tsp baking powder
42g/ ¼ cup melted dark chocolate
37g/ ¼ cup cocoa powder
57g/1 egg and 18g/ 1 egg yolk
112g/ 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Combine butter, cream cheese, sugar, and melted chocolate.
Add egg and yolk and combine.
Add vanilla and chocolate extract and combine.
Combine remaining dry ingredients (except chocolate chips)
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Add chocolate chips and combine (avoid overmixing dough).
Chill dough for 30 minutes.
Form cookies with using ice cream scoop.
Place cookies 2 inches apart on baking tray lined with parchment.
Bake 350F/ 176C degrees for 15 minutes (ovens vary).
Allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes.
Recipe makes 12 large cookies.

Zest of 1 lemon
210g cake flour (or 48g cornstarch + 162g all purpose flour)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Oreo cream cheese cookies are a delicious combination of crushed Oreo cookies, original cream cheese, flour, and sugar. The are superb as they can be made up in about half an hour and only require 5 ingredients. Many people also like the cookie because it contains no eggs, as a result you can snack on the cookie dough.
In terms of recipe tips, our Oreo cream cheese cookies can be changed to just about anything. For example, you could use chocolate chip cookies and call them chocolate chip cream cheese cookies. I'm simply saying that any type of cookie can be used in the recipe.
You can also use a chocolate or strawberry Oreo cookie too if you like. There are so many flavours of cream cheese that it can be swapped too.

???? Ingredients:
4 oz or 125 grams of cream cheese at room temperature
1 stick or 113 grams of softened butter
3/4 cup of granulated or brown sugar
1 cup and 2 tbsp of all purpose flour, sifted
12 crushed Oreo cookies
???? Method:
Add the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until creamy.
Add in the butter and beat once again until well combined.
Put the sugar in and continue to mix.
Place the flour in half at a time and beat until a dough forms.
Fold the Oreo cookies in and cover the bowl with cling wrap. Place in the fridge for about half an hour. Overnight is fine too.
Using an ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop up some of the mixture, place it in the palm of you hand and form it into a ball.
Place it on a baking tray lined with a matt or parchment paper and gently press down to flatten it out a little.
Bake for 14 - 15 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven, place them on a wire rack, and allow them to cool.
Serve and enjoy your Oreo cream cheese cookies.

cream cheese 1 cup (225 grams)
butter 1/2 cup (113 grams)
sugar 3/4 cup (180 grams)
vanilla 1/8 tsp
all purpose flour 1 cup (130 grams)
baking powder 1/8 tsp
oreo cookies 10 pcs ( 6 for the dough and 4 for the Toppings l.
chocolate chips 1 cup ( I used half semi sweet half white chocolate)
Baking time: 14-15 minutes depending on your oven.
Oven temperature: 170°c

Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies! Here I substitute some of the butter with cream cheese, making these light and chewy.
Makes 12 big cookies.
Ingredients:
½ cup (125 mL) butter, softened
¼ cup (60 mL) cream cheese, softened
¾ cup (175 mL) packed brown sugar
¼ cup (60 mL) granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp (10 mL) pure vanilla extract
2½ cups (625 mL) all-purpose flour
2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
pinch salt, optional and to taste
1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) raisins - optional.
Method:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC)
In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the butter, cream cheese, and sugars; beat on medium-high speed until well-creamed, light and fluffy.
Then beat in egg, and vanilla.
In another bowl mix the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and optional salt until just combined.
Add the dry ingredients to the stand mixer slowly, in a couple of additions.
Fold in the raisins and chocolate chips by hand.
Chill in the fridge for a half hour.
Using a 2 scoop, form heaping mounds and flatten slightly with your hand before baking.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges have set and tops are just beginning to set.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.

Make Cream Cheese At home quick n easily..
Ingredients
1 liter milk
2 to 3 tbsp Lemon or vinegar
1 or 1/2 tsp salt as per tatse
In a saucepan, heat the milk on med-high. Stirring constantly until it starts to a rolling simmer.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the lemon juice 1 tablespoon at a time, in 1-minute intervals.
Continue cooking until the mixture curdles. Stir constantly till the mixture has separated completely, this should take just a few minutes.
There will be a green liquid on the bottom and thick curdles on top. Remove from the heat.
Lay a sieve with cheesecloth over a large bowl. Pour the curd mixture into the sieve. Let it strain and cool for about 15 minutes.
Transfer curds to a food processor and process until curds have come together and are totally smooth and creamy. It will take around 3-4 minutes. Keep going if your cream cheese is grainy.
Add salt as per taste or add any herbs of your choice.
