How To make White Chili with Salsa Verde
CHILI:
1 ts Lemon pepper
1 ts Cumin seed
4 Chicken breast halves
1 ts Olive oil
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 c Chopped onions
18 oz Frozen Shoepeg White Corn, t
8 oz Cans diced green chiles, und
1 ts Ground cumin
3 tb Lime juice
30 oz Great northern beans, undrai
2/3 c Crushed tortilla chips
1 1/2 oz Shredded Monterey Jack chees
SALSA:
22 oz Tomatillos chopped drained *
1/2 c Chopped onion
1/2 c Chopped fresh cilantro or pa
1 Jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 ts Lemon pepper
1/2 ts Dried oregano leaves
1/2 ts Adobo seasoning or garlic po
3 tb Lime juice
2 1/2 cups water *If tomatillos are not available, substitute green
tomatoes. **Adobo is a seasoning available at Hispanic food stores. In a large saucepan, combine water, lemon pepper, and cumin seed; bring to a boil. Add chicken breast halves. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20-28 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear. Remove chicken from bones; cut into 1-inch pieces. Return chicken to saucepan. Spray medium skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Add minced garlic; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Remove from pan; add to chicken mixture. Add onions to skillet; cook, stirring, until tender. Add cooked onions, corn, chiles, ground cumin and lime juice to chicken mixture. Bring to a boil. Add beans; cook until thoroughly heated. Salsa: Combine all salsa ingredients in medium bowl; mix well. Refrigerate 30 minutes to blend flavors. To serve, place some tortilla chips and cheese in 8 individual soup bowls; ladle hot chili over cheese. Serve with the salsa.

SLOW COOKER WHITE CHICKEN CHILI

Such a unique recipe with natural ingredients! I think you will love this chili topped with fritos and Monterey Jack cheese.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 lbs. chicken breasts (chicken thighs work great in this recipe too)
30 oz. Cannellini Beans (two 15-oz. cans) drained
8.75 oz. can whole kernel corn (drained well)
30 oz. chicken broth (two 15-oz. cans) or 4 cups water and 2 chicken boullion cubes
4 oz. can fire roasted green chiles or 1 diced poblano pepper
1 cup sweet yellow onion diced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup sour cream (ADD AT THE END OF THE COOKING TIME)
1/8 cup minced cilantro (ADD AT THE END OF THE COOKING TIME)
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
5-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the chicken, beans, corn, chicken broth, green chiles, onion and seasonings to the slow cooker. Wait to add the sour cream and cilantro. Stir.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
When the cooking time is done, shred the chicken with two forks.
Add the sour cream and cilantro. Stir.
Serve and enjoy!

The Best Crockpot Recipe!! White Chicken Chili~Salsa Verde
White Chicken Chili! ????
This is the perfect recipe for cooler weather! So simple and so good!
And the Crockpot does all the work for you! This recipe does require a lot of ingredients but trust me it’s worth it! ????

Ingredients ????
2 pounds of Chicken Breast
1 small Onion chopped
2 tsp Garlic minced
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2 cans of Green Chiles (4.5 ounce)
1 cup of Salsa Verde
2 cans of White Beans drained
1 (32 ounce) Chicken Broth
1 lime
1 tsp of Salt
2 Jalapeños diced (optional)
Directions????
1. Place chopped onion, diced jalapeños, and garlic in the bottom of your slow cooker.
2. Add chicken and season with salt.
3. Add undrained cans of green chiles and 1 cup of salsa verde.
4. Add your drained white beans and chicken broth. Season with the remaining spices.
5. Cook on high 4 hours or low 8 hours.
6. Before you serve remove chicken and shred it with 2 forks then add it back into the slow cooker.
7. Squeeze 1 lime into soup and add any additional salt if necessary.
8. Serve and Enjoy.
Add your favorite toppings like cheese, sour cream, or tortilla chips to your bowl! This is definitely food for your soul! ????
