Makes 18-20 cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (115g) Butter, softened
3/4 cup (150g) White sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1½ cups (190g) All-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 cup (160g) White chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In a bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl place softened butter and sugar, beat until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the egg, vanilla extract and beat until combined.
4. Add the flour mixture and beat until combined and soft dough forms.
5. Add chocolate chips and stir.
6. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
7. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
8. Scoop 1-2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls and place on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving room for the cookies to flatten out.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned.
10. Let cool for 10 minutes on the tray, transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.

►1/2 cup granulated sugar
►1 cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
►2 large eggs at room temperature
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►3 cups all-purpose flour (375 grams),
►1 tsp baking soda
►1 tsp salt
►2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
note: Recipe updated May 2020. We found the cookies to work best with 1 tsp baking soda instead and 1 tsp salt.

Chocolate Chips / Cookie Dough
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup choc chips
(nuts, sprinkle, dried cranberry, raisins etc - optional)
- Combine together AFP, salt , baking powder and baking soda, mix
well and set aside
- Cream butter, sugars, egg and vanilla
- When well blended, combine wet and dry ingredients using a
spatula or hand mixer
- Add your chocolate chips or your favorite topping
- Leave in the fridge for 20 minutes before lining up onto the baking
tray
- Bake for 8-10 minutes @ 350F
- Let cool on a cooling rack
