4 Green onions 1 Garlic clove 1 Hot pepper, such as jalapeno -or Scotch bonnet, seeded 1 tb Ground allspice 1 ts Dried thyme 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1/2 ts Cayenne (or to taste) 2 tb Fresh lime juice Combine all ingredients in blender; pulse to puree mixture. Store in covered glass container in refrigerator. Make 1/3 cup. To use, rub 2 teaspoons or more jerk seasoning over surface of meat. Let stand at least 1 hour before cooking. Homemade Jerk Seasoning Recipe
Ingredients List ———————— 3 sprigs fresh thyme 2 spring onions 1 tsp pimento powder / all spice powder 1-3 scotch bonnet pepper (depends on the heat you can handle, use more or less) 1 tsp browning 1 onion 6 garlic cloves 1 tsp nutmeg & cinnamon 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp brown sugar 1/2 lemon 1 tbsp oil to Blend
????Store in the fridge in a glass jar for up to a few weeks. Use a clean spoon every time you take some.
