(Melted ) Snowball Cookie Recipe Florida Style

Here is the Recipe :
Ingredients:

1Stick of Butter
1 cup of Flour
1teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
1/4 cup Toasted Nuts.
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder( optional)
Powdered Sugar


INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix/ whisk butter, salt, sugar + extract until it peaks a nice creamy texture. Toast almonds, pea and or walnuts in the oven at 250 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Once toasted let cool, then crush or crunch to nice bite sizes. You don't want to crush to a powder consistency. Add flour and nuts and mix well until fully incorporated. Now let rest in the fridge for about 10 minutes, then scoop little spoonfuls into your palm and roll into a tiny ball. Place on a sheet pan with parchment paper and give it another 5 minutes in the freezer before placing in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 170C (190C non fan)
150g Softened Butter (preferably unsalted)
60g Caster Sugar
230g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt (but not if you have salted butter)
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
20g Choc Chips chopped

3-Ingredients Buttery Shortbread Cookies.

*This recipe only needs 3 Ingredients
*This recipe makes about 50 cookies (1/2 tbsp dough for each cookie)
*Powdered sugar is the same as icing sugar

Ingredients:

227g (1 cup) salted butter (room temperature)
64g (1/2cup) powdered sugar
256g (2 cups) all purpose flour

Methods:
1. Cream butter and sugar till pale and soft.
2. Add the flour and mix well.
3.Shape the dough into balls and use a fork to flatten the dough.
4. Bake at 130°C for 15-20 minutes till golden brown.
5.Done.

Shortbreads are one of my favorite cookies. I love their crisp and crunchy texture and their buttery flavor. A basic shortbread recipe uses just three ingredients, butter, sugar, and flour. For this recipe we are adding chocolate chips which add a pleasing contrast to the buttery sweet flavor of the shortbread. Unlike some of the other shortbread recipes on the site, that involve rolling and cutting out the individual cookies, this is a slice and bake cookie. Which means we simply make the batter, form it into a log shape, chill, and then slice and bake the cookies. The cookie log can even be frozen which makes it an ideal make ahead cookie.
