1 1/4 c Margarine
3/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1 Egg
= "egg beaters" 1 ts Vanilla
3 c Oats
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
Recipe by: Governor Lawton Chiles, Florida The following recipe is a favorite of Governor and Mrs. Chiles. They are delighted to share this recipe and hope you enjoy preparing it. Heat oven to 375. Beat margarine and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices; mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients-
1 cup Craisins® Original Dried Cranberries
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup vegetable shortening
2 small eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 1/4 cup instant or rolled oats
How it’s made-
1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt , set aside.
2. Whisk butter, shortening and sugar until light.
3. Whisk in eggs.
4. Fold in flour, oats and Craisins® Original Dried Cranberries.
5. Scoop out mounds onto a lined cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 350 D. F for 15 mins.
7. Cool on a cookie rack then Enjoy!!!

HOW TO MAKE OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
A very simple recipe on how to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, kids will have fun and like it too :)
Steps
1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir the cookie mix, egg and butter until blended.
2. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

350 Degrees for 10 min -12oz box of raisins - 1.5 sticks of unsalted butter - 1 cup brown sugar - 1 egg - 1.5 tsp vanilla - mix all together separate bowl 3/4 cup flour - 1/2 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 1/8 tsp nutmeg - 3 cups of oatmeal...mix ..then combine with other bowl , mix and bake ;)

Ingredients
• 1/2 Cup(s) (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter, softened
• 3/4 Cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 Cup(s) granulated sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla
• 1-1/2 Cup(s) all-purpose flour (I used self rising flour and omitted the baking soda)
• 1 Teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
• 1 Teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
• 1/2 Teaspoon(s) salt (optional)
• 3 Cup(s) Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
• 1 Cup(s) raisins
• Cooking Instructions
• Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
