Mom's traditional real bean soup with dumplings
This is the real bean soup with dumplings the way MOM used to make it. I have fond memories of this rib sticking, warming soup.
It sure would get winding during the night though, but then that's all part of any kind of bean soup.
I did simplify this just a bit by using canned beans as well as instant broth, and not the kind mom used to make. But man did it ever taste good.
