2/3 c Butter plus 2 tbs. 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Dark brown sugar 1 Egg 1 ts Vanilla 1 1/2 c Flour 3 1/2 oz Macadamia nuts; chopped 6 oz White chocolate Chop into 1/2" pieces Heat oven to 325. Grease cookie sheets. In large bowl with electric mixer beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla at med-high speed until fluffy. Reduce mixer speed to low, add flour, increase speed gradually and beat just until blended. Stirr in nuts and chocolate. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto cookie sheets. Bake about 15 minutes or until edges are slightly brown and tops look dry. Cool on cookie sheet on wire rack about 5 minutes the remove to rack to cool completely. -----

-1/2 cup brown sugar -1/4 cup granulated sugar -1 stick salted butter -1 egg -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour -1/4 teaspoon baking soda -1 cup chocolate chips
1. Add the brown sugar and sugar to a bowl and mix with an electric whisker or stand mixer. 2. Add the butter and mix for a minute until a paste forms. 3. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until just combined. 4. Add the flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips, and beat until a dough just forms. 5. Make about 12 two tablespoon-sized dough balls and put them on a plate. Flatten the dough ball slightly and put a few chocolate chips on top. 6. Refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 minutes 7. Put the cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Makes 18-20 cookies Ingredients: 1/2 cup (115g) Butter, softened 3/4 cup (150g) White sugar 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 1½ cups (190g) All-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 cup (160g) White chocolate chips
Directions: 1. In a bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. 2. In a large bowl place softened butter and sugar, beat until smooth and creamy. 3. Add the egg, vanilla extract and beat until combined. 4. Add the flour mixture and beat until combined and soft dough forms. 5. Add chocolate chips and stir. 6. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 7. Preheat oven to 350F (180C). 8. Scoop 1-2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls and place on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving room for the cookies to flatten out. 9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. 10. Let cool for 10 minutes on the tray, transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
