Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTSOnions - 250 grams
Egg - 1
Milk - 230 milliliters
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Paprika - 1 tablespoon
All purpose flour - 130 grams
Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
Bread crumbs
PREPARATION
1. Separate the onion slices into rings, and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well to combine.
3. Dip the onion rings into the flour mixture and roll them in bread crumbs.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with ketchup.

Beer Battered Onion Rings

Ingredients
4 cups canola oil or peanut oil
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 cup red bell peppers, roasted
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons pepper, fresh cracked
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 yellow onions, sweeter the better, Vidalia or Texas sweets
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 teaspoon garlic, granulated
12 ounces beer, medium body
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Directions
In a Dutch oven heat oil to 350 degrees F.
In a food processor combine sour cream, mayonnaise, sun-dried tomatoes, red bell peppers, lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, white wine and minced garlic, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Cut onions 1/2-inch thick, remove dark exterior of onions, separate into rings and soak in buttermilk for 1 hour.
Combine 1 cup of flour, remaining salt, pepper, and garlic, mix thoroughly. In a medium bowl combine beer and 1 cup of flour, mix thoroughly.
Remove onion rings from buttermilk, shake off excess, dredge in flour, shake off excess, then dip in beer batter. Drop some onion rings in oil and continue process, being sure not to crowd rings as they will stick together. When golden, remove and let drain on paper towels.
Garnish with Parmesan.

Onion rings are the perfect combination of crispy, light & fluffy with a hint of sweetness. It’s excellent over steaks, fish, salad, potato dishes. It raises everything up a level !!!
Ingredients :
1/4th cup Refined Flour
4 tbsp Corn Flour
1/2 tbsp Mix Herbs
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 cup water
Methods :
Cut the onion slices into rings & set aside.

In a small bowl, take ¼ cup of Refined Flour, 4 tbsp Corn Flour, 1/2 tbsp Mix Herbs, 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Salt and 1/2 tsp Black Pepper. Add ¼ cup of water to it and mix it gently.

Dip the onion slices into the flour mixture until they are all coated after that dip it into bread crumbs.

Deep fry the rings until golden brown & these crunchy onion rings are ready!

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CRISPY OLD SCHOOL ONION ???? RINGS
How to make perfect crispy onion rings in a skillet. They come out crispy every time, without a mix or any unusual ingredients. These onions won't pull out of the onion ring. These are the perfect side for hamburgers, hot dogs or any other sandwich. They also, make a great appetizer.
RECIPE:
2 large sweet onions(sliced in 1 in rings)
3 cups ice cold water
2 egg
2 cups whole milk
2 cups unseasoned bread crumbs
4 cups all purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups vegetable oil
place sliced onions in ice water for 15 minutes
remove onions from ice water and dust in all 2 cups of all purpose flour(season with salt and pepper)
add onions to egg/milk mixture
bread onions in 2 cups flour/bread crumbs mixture(season with salt and pepper)
let sit on rack for 15 minutes to allow to dry out a bit
fry in vegetable oil on 350 degrees until golden brown on each side
