How to Make Cream of Mushroom Soup | Homemade Recipe

Cream of mushroom soup is something that usually comes from Campbell's and is used in all sorts of casseroles. While I love that condensed goodness, I wanted to try my hand at making my own version of cream of mushroom soup from scratch. This cream of mushroom soup recipe is great and really elevates the classic Campbell's pantry staple.
Cream of Mushroom Soup Ingredients|
1. Butter - 4 tbsp
2. Rough Chopped Onion - 1 Med
3. Rough Chopped Garlic - 4 cloves
4. Mushrooms - 2 lbs
5. AP Flour - 1/4 c
6. Chicken Broth - 32oz
7. Half n Half - 1 c
8. Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
9. Salt - 1 tsp
10. Thyme - 1 tsp
11. Beef Bouillon - 2 cubes
Cream of Mushroom Soup Directions |
1. Heat butter in a stockpot on medium heat.
2. Saute onions until translucent.
3. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
4. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
5. Slowly add flour and mix thoroughly.
6. When all flour is incorporated add chicken broth, cream, black pepper, salt & beef bouillon cubes. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
7. Add thyme and stir. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
8. Add soup mixture to a blender and mix until smooth.
9. Store in the fridge or freezer and use it in your favorite casserole dishes!

LEARN HOW TO MAKE A CREAMY VEGAN MUSHROOM STROGANOFF RECIPE
LAY HO MA!! MAN, mushrooms are so great aren't they? They come in many shapes and sizes and have the most amazing flavours. The sound of a creamy, comforting, earthy mushroom pasta dish makes the world right. Join me in this episode and learn how to make a delicious vegan mushroom stroganoff recipe right at home. Let's begin
Ingredients:
1 cup cashews
1 1/2 cups water
few pinches of salt
300g mixed mushrooms of your choice (I used a mix of shimeji, shiitake, oyster, cremini, king oyster, and seafood mushrooms)
pepper
3 pieces garlic
1/2 red onion
1/2lb pasta
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 cup whiskey
few sprigs parsley
Directions:
1. Add the cashews, 1 cup water, and a generous pinch of salt to the blender and blend on high until smooth (soak the cashews overnight if you don't have a high powered blender)
2. Bring a pot of water to boil for the pasta
3. Prep the mushrooms by peeling down the oyster mushrooms, slicing the cremini mushrooms, roughly chop the king oyster mushroom, and chop the seafood mushrooms in half
4. Finely chop the garlic and thinly slice the red onion
5. Cook the pasta to package instructions
6. Heat up a frying pan to medium heat. Add in the mushrooms
7. Dry sauté the mushrooms for 3-4min. Season with salt and pepper
8. Sauté for another 2-3min. Then, add in the garlic and onions
9. Add in the olive oil and smoked paprika
10. Give the pan a stir. Then, add in the whiskey. Sauté for another 2-3min
11. Add in the cashew cream and season with salt and pepper
12. Stir the pan. Then, thin out the sauce by stirring in 1/2 cup water. Cook for another minute and turn off the heat
13. Strain out the water from the pasta
14. Plate the pasta and ladle the mushroom sauce on top. Garnish with some freshly chopped parsley

Easy Quick Mushroom Soup With Whole Wheat Flour White Sauce

A very easy and quick Mushroom Soup is a superb idea for those who love Mushrooms. Watch the recipe and make for loved ones. In the given measurements of ingredients, 2 Bowls of soup can be prepared
Ingredients:
1 - Button Mushrooms - 3 - 4 (Medium size)
2 - Wheat Flour - 2 -3 tsp
3 - Milk - 1 Cup ( 100-150 ml )
4 - Black Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp ( Or to taste)
5 - Salt - 1/2 tsp ( Or to taste)
6 - Garlic - 4-5
7 - Butter - 2 tsp ( one tsp for Mushroom cooking and one for White sauce)
8 - Water - 350 - 400ml
Method:
Wash and slice the mushrooms roughly. To a pan add a tsp of butter, add garlic and Mushroom. Saute and keep it aside to cool.
For White Sauce:
In the same pan, add another tsp of butter, add flour. Roast, add milk, salt, pepper, cook till it becomes like sauce. Cool it.
Mix both things and grind it to a coarse paste. Add some water to the pan, add the ground paste, add some more water. Give a boil. Serve hot.

CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 Lbs. Shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced
3 cups vegetable broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 cup milk, or substitute with half & half, or whipping cream
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1. In a large Dutch oven, or heavy bottom sauce pan, over medium-
high heat, melt butter. Add shiitake mushrooms. Stir. Sauté
10 minutes. Stir often.
2. Add salt, pepper, dried parsley, 1/2 cup milk, vegetable broth to
sautéed shiitake mushroom mixture. Bring to a gentle boil, turn
down heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Whisk remaining milk with flour. Pour into mushroom mixture.
4. Stir well. Turn heat up to medium-high. Bring to a gentle
boil stirring constantly for 1 minute. Soup will thicken slightly.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional), and serve!!
