How To make Dak's Walnut Blue Wheat Bread (Bread Machine)

1 pk Yeast 3 c Whole wheat flour 1 ts Salt 1 tb Sugar 1 tb Margarine 2 oz 2-4 oz crumbled blue cheese 1 c Plus 2 TBS warm water 1/2 c Toasted walnuts(add at beep Put all ingredients into pan in the order listed, select "whole wheat" and push "start"

Applesauce Bread
This is such an easy, straight-forward recipe. It's the primary way I use my home canned applesauce. The secret to having a moist delicious loaf is not to over cook it. I love it toasted. It freezes beautifully. Enjoy!
APPLESAUCE BREAD
2 cup sugar 2 cup applesauce 2/3 cup vegetable oil 4 eggs 2 teaspoon vanilla 6 tablespoons milk 4 cups flour 2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease and flour 2 (9 x 5) loaf pans.
Beat first 6 ingredients for 2 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients except for the nuts (reserving a teaspoon of flour). Stir to combine. Add to liquid ingredients and stir until just combined. Toss nuts with remaining teaspoon of flour to coat, and then stir into batter. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake for approximately 40 minutes. Begin checking doneness at 35 minutes. When done, a toothpick inserted into the thickest part of the loaf should be coated in sticky crumbs. Remove from oven immediately, and allow to cool in pans for 10 minutes. Loosen loaves from pan and cool on rack. When completely cook, store in airtight container or wrap in foil for the freezer.
