How To Make Barbecue Baked Beans
1/2 lb of ground beef
3 pieces of crispy bacon
1/4 cup of minced onion
3-4 drops of liquid smoke
1/2 cup of barbecue sauce
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 LG can of baked beans in tomato sauce, drained. I use Van Camp Baked Beans
Pinch of salt
In 10 inch cast iron skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain off excess grease. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the bacon to ground beef. Stir until well blended. Crumble bacon on top. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to one hour.
This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Enjoy!
