Rice Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients: Cooked Rice - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Onion - 1 no. finely chopped
Mustared seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida powder- 1/4 tsp
Green chilli - 1 no.
A piece of chopped Ginger
Salt to taste
A few Coriander leaves
Method:
Saute the ingredients
1. Heat oil in a kadai
2. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida powder
3. Add the onions, green chilli, ginger and saute well.
4. Once the onions turn transparent turn off the stove and keep aside
Grinding the rice:
5. Add the cooked rice, water and rice flour in a grinder and grind to a coarse batter
Add some more rice flour to get a thick batter of right consistency
6. Now add the saute'd ingredients, chopped coriander leaves and mix well
7. Let the batter sit for 10 minutes
8. Cook the batter on a non stick pan/tawa in medium flame. Add oil as needed
9. Turn the sides till its cooked.
Serve with any chutney of your choice

Rice pancakes
Portions serving: 4-5 pax
Preparation time: 10 hours for rice to soak.
Cooking time: 30 mins
Ingredients
Rice 1 cup
Water as required
Salt ½ tbsp
Ginger ½ inch
Green chilli 2 pcs
Potato boiled 2 pcs
Suji 2 tbsp
Eno 1 tsp
Onion ½ cup
Carrot grated ½ cup
Capsicum chopped ¼ cup
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Method
Wash rice and soak it in water overnight.
Then, strain the water and transfer it to a mixer jar.
Add ginger, salt, green chilli, boiled potato and little water. Grind to a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter to the bowl, add suji, eno/fruit salt and mix it.
Then add chopped onions, chopped capsicum, grated carrot, chopped coriander and gently mix it.
Heat a flat pan, add oil, a pinch of sesame seeds and pour the batter over it.
Cover it with a lid and cook it on medium low flame for 1-2 mins.
Once the bottom side of the pancake gets crispy, flip and cook it from the other side.
Rice pancakes are ready to serve.

Hey Guys,
This is a dish which needs very less preparation & very less ingredients.
Try out this delicious snack/breakfast/meal recipe & enjoy with your family.
Ingredients for Batter:
* Rice- 3/4 Cup (any type of rice will work)
* Curd - 3 Tbsp
* Boiled Potato - 1 small size
* Mix Vegetables- 1/5 Cup (all vegetables should be finely chopped or grated)
* Salt - to taste
* Black Pepper Corns - 1/2 tsp(coarsely grounded)
* Fresh Grated Coconut - 1 Tbsp
* Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
Soak rice for few hours or for 1 hr in Hot Water. Then grind rice, curd & potato together and make a smooth paste. Add all the chopped vegetables, salt, coconut, black pepper and mix. Once mixed now add baking soda and mix.
Now on hot pan, pour a ladle full batter and cook.. cook on both sides until nice brown golden color appears.
****Rice Pancakes are ready!
Ingredients for Coconut Chutney:
*Fresh Coconut - 1 Cup (thinly sliced)
*Green Chillies - 3 to 4
*Green Coriander Leaves - handful
*Curry Leaves- few
*Roasted Gram Dal - 2 Tbsp
*Curd - 2 Tbsp
*Water- 1/4 Cup
Grind all the above mentioned ingredients in the blender jar.. once it becomes smooth, pour it out in a bowl, then add 1/2 tbsp of Lemon Juice.
****Coconut Chutney is Ready!
Serve Rice Pancakes with Coconut chutney & some Salad on the Sides.

Rice pancakes | veggie pancakes | Gluten free recipes | rice flour pancakes | rice pancake
Rice pancakes or veggie pancakes are a healthy gluten-free breakfast option with very little oil and loads of veggies. Any type of rice can be used to make these pancakes, to make it more healthy you can even use Brown Rice; soak the brown rice a little longer as it needs more time to cook compared to white ones. Add vegetables as per your choice and taste. These pancakes keep you fuller for a longer time…enjoy and don’t forget to share your feedback.
Ingredients-
Rice (Any rice) -1 cup (Soaked for 3-4 hours)
Green chili -2
Boiled and grated potatoes -2
Chopped veggies –
Tomato -1tbsp
Carrots -1tbsp
Capsicum -1tbsp
Onion -1tbsp
Coriander leaves -1tbsp
Cumin Seeds -1tsp
Grated ginger -1tsp
Red chili flakes -1tsp
Salt -as per taste
Baking soda/fruit salt -1/2tsp
Oil for shallow frying
Method –
1-Blend the soaked rice to a coarse paste. Add little water while blending, the batter should not be thin.
2-Add the grated potatoes and all the chopped veggies. Mix well. After adding veggies the batter will become thick.
3-Mix cumin seeds, grated ginger, salt, red chili flakes, and baking soda. Mix well and the batter is ready.
4-Heat a non-stick pan/Tawa, sprinkle some oil. Spread a ladle full of batter, cover, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5-Flip it gently, sprinkle some oil on sides. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes again. Till the pancake is golden and crisp.
6-Serve it hot with the dip of your choice.
