Tofu Meatballs with Marinara Sauce
GET RECIPE:
Tofu meatballs are a quick, tasty, and nutritious alternative to meat-based meatballs, as they are packed with flavor, protein, and nutrition.
You can make them with pantry staples in 3 easy steps in a food processor and bake them in 20 minutes. They are excellent for a weeknight dinner and meal prep as they keep well for days.
Have tofu meatballs with spaghetti or in a sub with your favorite marinara or arrabbiata sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces (250 grams) firm tofu or extra-firm.
½ cup (70 grams) breadcrumbs
⅓ cup (40 grams) of pitted olives, black or green.
⅓ cup (35 grams) walnuts
½ onion
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 handful fresh parsley
¾ teaspoon salt
2 twists of black pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, to help binding.
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast optional, for flavor.
SERVE WELL WITH
12 ounces (340 grams) spaghetti cooked in salted boiling water.
our homemade marinara sauce or a store-bought one.
Bake at 400°F or 200°C for 20-25 minutes or until browned on top and bottom.

Vegan/Plant Based
Delicious Tofu Balls
1 pkg tofu, 14 oz, water packed, firm
½ med. Onion, chopped
1 tsp sage
2 tsp sweet basil
1 T parsley flakes
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
2 T nutritional yeast flakes
1 c bread crumbs
Extra bread crumbs
Preheat oven at 425 degrees. Mash tofu in a mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients except EXTRA bread crumbs. Mix well. Make small balls. Roll the tofu ball in an extra bread crumbs. Put them on an oil sprayed 13” x 9” cookie sheet. Spray oil on each tofu balls. Bake for 25 minutes. Delicious!
Makes 18 - 20 balls.

豆腐 400g、燕麥 70g 、木薯粉 適量、
鹽 ¼茶匙、胡椒粉 ¼茶匙
時蔬燴燕麥豆腐丸:
蒸燕麥豆腐丸 200g、胡蘿蔔 30g、甜椒 40g、鲜香菇 50g、食油 1茶匙、清水 1杯、素蠔油 ½湯匙、糖 ½茶匙 、醬油 1茶匙 、胡椒粉 ¼茶匙、澱粉水(太白粉 1茶匙+清水 1湯匙)、芝麻油 ½茶匙
照燒燕麥豆腐丸:
炸燕麥豆腐丸 150g、薑粉 ¼茶匙、醬油 1½湯匙、味醂 1½湯匙、
糖 ½湯匙、太白粉 1茶匙、清水 ⅓杯、熟芝麻 適量
輕輕翻拌使丸子裹勻照燒汁
Oats Tofu Balls(350g):
Tofu 400g, Oats 70g, Tapioca Starch moderate,
Salt ¼tsp, White Pepper ¼tsp
Teriyaki Oatmeal Tofu Balls:
Fried Oats Tofu Balls 150g, Ginger Powder 1tsp,
Soy Sauce 1½tbsp, Mirin 1½tbsp, Sugar ½tbsp,
Potato Starch 1tsp, Water ⅓cup, Roasted Sesame
Seasonal Vegetable Stewed Oatmeal Tofu Balls:
Steamed Oats Tofu Balls 200g, Carrot 30g, Peper 40g, Fresh Shiitake Mushroom 50g, Cooking Oil 1tsp, Water 1cup, Mushrooms Vegetarian Stir-fry Sauce ½tbsp,
