How To make Tangy Lemon Drops
5 tb Butter
3/4 c Unsifted cake flour
1/4 c Confectioners' sugar
1 ts Grated lemon peel
Mix butter with flour, confectioners' sugar and lemon peel until combined. Divide dough in half; on floured surface, roll each half to a 6" long cylinder. Wrap each half in plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hr. Preheat oven to 325. Grease large baking sheet. Cut each roll of chilled dough crosswise in 1/2" thick slices. Place cookies cut side up, on prepared baking sheet. Bake 12 min at 325 or until top of cookies are firm to the touch and are lightly browned on the bottom. With spatula remove to wire rack. Sprinkle cookie with additional confectioners' sugar before serving. -----

If you love lemons like I do, you're going to love my Lemon Tart recipe! This is my take on the French classic Tarte au Citron, it’s made with a buttery and crisp tart crust that’s easy to make and filled with a super fresh and tart lemon curd. The flavor is similar to my lemon bars but it’s elegant and fancy enough to serve up at dinner parties served with some whipped cream and fresh berries.

How to make lemon tart?

Step 1
Ingredients :
— 9” inch tart tin
—200gm plain flour
—40gm icing sugar
— pinch of salt
—100gm cold chopped unsalted butter
—2 egg yolk
— A spalsh of cold water
** pre heated oven 175 C

Ingredients
—200gm plain flour
—40gm icing sugar
—80 gm coco powder
— pinch of salt
—100gm cold chopped unsalted butter
—2 egg yolk
— A spalsh of cold water
Step 2 :
Ingredients :
— 6 whole eggs
— 2 egg yolks
—140 gm caster sugar
— 150 gm double cream
—2 lemon zest
— 120 ml lemon juice
**pre heated ovan and set on 150 C
Method to follow:
STEP 1
To make the pastry, mix the flour and icing sugar in a bowl.
Rub the butter into the flour with your fingers until crumbly.
Mix in the egg yolks.
If the pastry is still too dry, add 1-2 tbsp water until it comes together.
Roll into a ball and divide in half (freeze one half for another recipe).
Flatten out the pastry with your hands, wrap the dough in cling film, then chill for at least 30 mins. While the pastry is chilling, make the filling.
Beat all the ingredients, except for the zest, together. Sieve the mixture, then stir in the zest.
STEP 2
Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface to about the thickness of a 1 inch coin, then lift into a 9” inch tart tin.
Press down gently on the bottom and sides, then trim off any excess pastry.
Stab a few holes in the bottom with a fork and put back in the fridge for 30 mins.
